Jun 15, 2008 On tap at the brewpub on Valentine’s Day 2008. This is a unique concoction. Clearly it has a lot of cherries to the aroma, but the chocolate is a dry bitter chocolate and not a candy sweet cocoa. The interesting thing is this chermaca flavoring which I have never ever tasted before having this beer. It was as unique to my palate as when I had my first chicory beer. A great beer flavoring that I’m surprised has not ben used before in other dark beers. I hope that it returns next season as this is a nice break from the ordinary. Nice job Dean, Paul, and Tyson!

Mar 31, 2008 Bottle at Extreme Beerfest 2008 (Crescent Moon): Deep robust flavor with a very slight taste of black cherries on the tongue as it finishes. White head. Medium body.
