4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Banana fruit and clove aromas dominate. Rocky white head with good retention. Unfiltered, the beer is hazy with a straw/orange color. Banana flavor dominates the wheat, but the mild hop bitterness keeps everything in check. Light-medium body; the beer has a refreshing finish. A very good hefeweizen that is easy to drink. Enjoy with friends.

On tap at Rattle. Pours a pale golden yellow color with a slight orange hue. That earthy wheat aroma with some hints of lemon zest and orange peel. Sweet citrusy taste with some lemon zest and muted spice. Muted hop layer. Light but creamy.

Tap @ brewpub. Hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Pretty rich banana creamy, a bit spicy yeasty, moderate clove aroma that is quite nice and not overpowering. A touch tart, spicy yeasty, fairly sweet banana flavor. Not a ton going on but it is delicious.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewpub on Opening Day. Pours a cloudy orange-gold with a very thick head. Aroma has big orange-coriander scents. I get a whopping big banana flavor from this. This beer seems SO very German. Awesome! It is wonderful to have a wheat beer such as this made in Nebraska.

Draught. Poured dark yellow with a white head. Aroma was sweet banana and bread. This had a big sweet banana taste, much bigger on the banana than a "normal" hefe. Medium/heavy body. Great fruity banana beer with a good amount of malt.
