3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft, pours a golden body with a full white head. Nice hop tones in the aroma, citrus, fruit and a sweeter honey tone. Dusty earth tones a fruit sweetness and a sticky warming. Feels to sweet and boozy despite the fragrant hop tones.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nose is alcohol, honey, limited hop presence though some spice. Flavor is alcohol (solidly boozy) with some caramel. Hops present themselves more as bitterness than floral.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Location: Sampled at the NY Brewfest on Governor’s Island, 6/19/10
Aroma: The nose is has some hops to it, pine, spice, grass, and some citrus
Appearance: It pours a somewhat cloudy golden color with an off-white head
Flavor: The taste combines the spicy malts with a bit of hoppy bitterness
Palate: It has a medium body and a more then average carbonation to it
Overall, I thought this beer was plenty solid, but not overly great. Just a solid and drinkable brew. I’d drink it again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The appearance is clear gold/orange white head. The aroma is fruity belgian yeast, spicy, bubble gum. The flavor is fruity bubble gum, spicy, belgian yeasty. The finish is spicy, sweet, citrus. Medium in body, syrupy mouthfeel. Decent, interesting, not worth as much as they charge for this beer.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is an amazing beer. Hop God is a very appropriate name since it is worthy of the gods. This is a beer from the brewery that is less than 3 years old. The beer they are producing is fantastic.
Smells of Pine forest, Citrus fruits, earth, Yeast and some banana and a bit o spice. Pours a very deep but bright gold with a great white thick head that last the whole time you drink your beer. Which is not long because it is so good. Almost full body with ample carbonation and a very crisp but smooth finish. Flavor is wonderful. One of the best IPA and the best Belgium style IPA I have ever had. Just full of hoppy goodness. Pne, Citrus, Spice, some sweetness but a great hop punch at the front and the end.. Amazingly Balanced and wickedly delicious that hides the 9.2% well...I will drink this again very soon.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled from the tap at the 2010 GTMW. Poured a near clear gold with a near white head that dissipated lasted throughout the beer. Aroma was full of pine hops with a hint of citrus but a bit one note. Flavor was more complex with pine to citrus with a bit of spice and grain coming out in the finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy golden pour with a thick white head. The nose is quite fruity with a bit of soft malt sweetness. A little bit of vanilla comes through with this one. Light berry and a kiss of honey as well. Bitterness light and there is an odd sort of metallic character that I don’t really care for. Sticky and a little bit chewy. A touch of earthiness and an astringent fruitiness on the back. Comes across as quite medicinal.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Blind Tiger, New York, NY. Cloudy amber, small head. Rich aroma of marzipan and orange. Sweet and full bodied wtih clean, elegant malt, warming alccohol, grapefruity hops and evident almondy yeast character. Distinct, somewhat resiny bitterness. An intense, tasty beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Barcade. I was confused when I got this as I expected a standard IPA and thought I had the wrong beer. Fortunately, this is correct. Pours a slightly copper bronze. Nose is All-American hops, piney and citrusy, coupled with phenolic Belgian yeast. Interesting combination. On taste, it’s missing something. Tons of hop character with the tripel notes distinctly coming through. Light clove notes with a clean hop character. Pretty decent.
