A beautiful golden crossbreed of a Belgian Tripel and a West Coast IPA. Combining the best attributes of each style in a remarkable way, this beer explodes with spiciness, tropical fruit, and an intense citrus bitterness that will leave you begging for more! Hopped with Warrior, Chinook, Centential, and Cascade hops.

On tap at Mad Mex and the better of the two Triple IPA’s on tap by a clear margin. Dark honey color, nice head, also well balanced so that both the hops and the belgian yeast compliment each other, and plenty of content. the alcohol is dangerously not obvious.

UPDATED: APR 27, 2011 Sampled on draft at Smokin’ Joe’s this beer poured a dark caramel-amber color with a large creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was very strong sweet fruit cocktail. The flavor was very strong sweet fruit cocktail, sherbert and alcohol. The beer turned a bit dry towards the long finish that had lingering fruit cocktail and table sugar. Thick and full bodied. Boozy, but somehow it worked with this one. Marvelous!

Sampled @RBWG. Pours murky gold with a small white head. The nose is spicy yeast and hops. The taste is light funk, yeast and tart hops. Interesting brew.

Hazy orange-yellow, whitish cover. Aroma is fruity, pear, apple, hoppy, sweet. Taste is slightly spicier, still sweet, with fruity esters, pear especially, some apple skin, nice hoppy finish. A bit sweeter than Belgian examples like Houblon Chouffe or Hopsinjoor but still very good.

Smells yeasty with some citrus. Pours a hazy gold color with some creamy lacing. Tastes of alcohol, citrus and triple yeast. Not a bad beer

On tap at RnH. Pours dark yellow/brown with a medium sized bubbly white head. Aroma is almost exactly like a trippel - bread, toast, citrus, pine needles. Flavor is nice and bold with notes of oranges, brown sugar, cloves, grass. Medium bodied and good carbonation.

Nice sweet belgian esters up front, citrus and floral hops, bready malts. Pours golden, nice head, nice clarity. Belgian yeast, grapefruit, floral notews, bread. Nice citrus mixed with yeast. Drinkable at this abv. Nice stuff.

Growler, thanks scrivvv. Thank god, I’m about to go into a diabetic coma after all the sweet beers I just had. Bright darker golden with great egg shell head that leaves some spotty lacing. Concetrated piney resinous hops with light malt backbone and a faint touch of corn flakes. Bubblegummy Belgian yeast esters, ’crackery’ malt, non descript fruit hop flavors that blend into the yeast esters and only really breaks away in the finish with the light bittering.

Growler. Thanks smoov scrivvvv! Pours a crystal clear dark orange. Big sudsy off white head. Big bold nose: dark sugars, spicy phenols, orange peel. Creamy medium with tight and lively carb. Orange peel, christmas cookie spice, and dark brown sugar on the mid palate. Mild cookieish finish.
