COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop God is a beautiful golden crossbreed of a Belgian Tripel and a West Coast IPA. Combining the best attributes of each style in a remarkable way, this beer explodes with spiciness, tropical fruit, and an intense citrus bitterness that will leave you begging for more! Hopped with Warrior, Chinook, Centential, and Cascade hops.

Sampled at GABF 2013. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, fruits and weeds. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

750 ml bottle to taster (shared by alexsdad06). Looks good for the style; a fairly transparent burnt orange with off-white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells solid; hoppy and spicy with a bit of tartness. Tastes like it smells, but less balanced. Average (at best) on the palate. Alright, but odd.

Interestingly odd beer here. This poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma contains citrus, spices, and perfume. The flavor is more boozy than bitter with some white grapes, citrus, and a creamy mouthfeel. A tripel and IPA hybrid going on here but leaning more toward tripel IMO. Overall pretty good beer.

Poured from a keg at Nebraska brewing company. Yellow pour. Very fruity and bitter but good. Balanced well between a IPA and a hef

Shared 750 ml. bottle, poured to snifters with a cloudy orange tint, modest layer of white, bubbly head foam, and spots & streaks of lacing. The nose was herbal, floral, lightly woody and earthy. The flavor presented moderate, somewhat lingering hop bitterness that was tempered nicely by pleasant, light malt sweetness and mild esters. A little less than medium bodied, with well hidden alcohol presence.

Nice sweet belgian esters up front, citrus and floral hops, bready malts. Pours golden, nice head, nice clarity. Belgian yeast, grapefruit, floral notews, bread. Nice citrus mixed with yeast. Drinkable at this abv. Nice stuff

Pours a hazy deeper orange with a large foamy lacing white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, peppery Belgian yeast notes, peaches, mixed citrus and I’m getting a tart cherry/Brett nose out of this beer. Along the lines of a Jolly Pumpkin beer. Flavor of peaches, tropical fruits, peppery Belgian yeast notes, very dry and lots of citrusy hop character. Getting the Brett character in the flavor too.

Tasted on draft at the 2011 East Nashville Beer Festival. Pours clear, dark orange with an average white head that slowly recedes to average lace. The nose has a nice caramel base with plenty of piney green hops and spicy Belgian yeast, and a light touch of onion that I have gotten off of certain hops before. The flavor is much the same with the spicy yeast character and the bitter hops balanced well by the caramel malt, and that little hint of onion on the back of the palate. The body is full with average carbonation and a long spicy yeast, bitter hops, and hint of onion finish. I really like this beer, and realize that the onion thing is something that I perceive on certain hops.

On tap. Comes golden brown with a nice off-white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, malt, and grass. Taste is lemons, grapefruit, malt, spice, and grass. Some alcohol comes through.
