A beautiful golden crossbreed of a Belgian Tripel and a West Coast IPA. Combining the best attributes of each style in a remarkable way, this beer explodes with spiciness, tropical fruit, and an intense citrus bitterness that will leave you begging for more! Hopped with Warrior, Chinook, Centential, and Cascade hops.

This is interesting... the sweetness of the Belgian style contrasts well with the bitterness of the IPA. The sweetness shows up first, then the hoppiness comes through on the back end. Pours golden and cloudy with a large head.

Tap. Not much head, very hazy vibrant marigold hue. Lots of tripel notes in the aroma with light fruit notes and spice along with vanilla hints. The bitterness does come in but it’s very grassy and almost gin bitter in some respects. Medium to lighter body with ok carbonation.

Serving: 750 ml. bottle. It pours a deep gold orange with a fluffy white head of foam. The nose is a mix of Belgian yeast, florals, and light pine. The flavor leans a little more towards the Belgian side with nice yeast and slight citrus notes. The hops are there too adding in a little pine and some grass. Light to medium body with higher than average carbonation and a medium finish. Definitely not bad but I would like just a bit more hop presence from something called “Hop God”.

Tasted at 2nd East Nash Beer Fest. Pale orange in color. Hazy. Loads of fruit. Grapefruit and other citrus flavors. Soapy. Some detergent. Loads of hops. The tripel characteristics aren’t shining through on the flavor profile for me. Good beer though.

Tap @ brewpub. Golden appearance with a white head. Upfront fruity esters in the nose with notes of banana, citrus fruits, and apricot. A little boozy, fruit forward, a little piney hoppy flavor. Lots of citrus fruits which is nice but the booze is a little out of control. The barrel aged version has a more mellow alcohol note.

I didn’t really get much tripel, just a lot of IPA. crisp and citrusy, lightly smokey, and insanely easy to drink. Dry, slightly woody finish. Sampled at the 2012 Eat Nashville Beer Festival.

Lots of earthy hoppiness, like onion and gardens. Flavor had a great floral Belgian quality that worked well with the stew-like hops. Balanced, beautiful tasting. Sampled at the second annual East Nashville Beerfest.

Pours a decent autumn cheddar with a nose of pine and straw. Flavor is attic air and grapefruit aged on cedar wood. Average mouthfeel. Tasty.

At Avery’s 2012 Strong Ale Fest. Murky light golden with a thick pillowy head like a Hefeweizen. Light estery aroma like a hefe too, kinda yeasty and biscuity with a touch of bubblegum..but also with this floral/grassy hop aroma. Taste is yeasty biscuit with a dash of wheat and bubblegum, with a hoppy flavor of grassy floral herbal bitterness. Like a hefe/IPA mix.

On tap. Pour is a great-looking cloudy golden yellow witty a smallish white head. Aroma is banana, fruit, mango hop, grapefruit hop, and faint spice. I did not know what style this was but I was guessing a hopped up wheat ale. That’s what it reminded me of. Also some notes of bubblegum. Very acrid as it warmed though. Make sure to drink it cold to avoid light notes of urine. That being said, I really enjoyed it while it was cold. Potent. One was plenty.
