This one poured a clear golden yellow color with a white head. Aroma was lots of fruity hops, citra specifically and light pale grain. Flavor was similar very fruity and refreshing, but lacking an overall pop to be great.

Pours a transparent copper orange with a spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of semi-sweet caramely malts and fresh piny resiny hops. Body starts lightly caramely malty sweet with a crisp bittering and flavor hoppy presence before a crisp bittersweet finish. A decent IPA

On tap at the brewery - dark gold with a small head (or at least it was when served) and lacing. Strong citrus hop nose and taste. Hoppy all the way though with a bitter finish. A solid brew!

Washington Commons, Brooklyn tap ($6): Pours a copper color with a nice white head. Aroma is weed and citrus and flowers. Taste is not as hoppy as I would have expected from the aroma. That being said, the taste is still quite nice. Moderate amount of bitterness is balanced exceedingly well with the malt backbone, which is more apparent in the taste. A little bit of astringency.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2013 Tap at Milltown. Darker orange amber with a thin steady white head. Nose isn’t bursting like some citra hopped beers I’ve had recently, but still very nice and tropical, citrus aroma. Flavor isn’t quite as fresh, more bitter and slightly maltier than the aroma suggests. Lightly sweet, medium to heavy bitter finish. I’m underwhelmed.

Pours a soft pale straw amber with two fingers of sticky off white head. Very nice nose, Citra really shows. Rhyme! Very very juicy aroma, lots of raw fruit with some tropical notes and citrus rind. A touch of toasted malt shows through as well. Dry and light bodied with a zesty bitterness. A light light sweetness on the finish and touch of alcohol. Lacks the hop intensity and depth the aroma has but still very nice.

Growler thanks to Mat! Pours a deep orange to light brown with very small sticky head. Aroma is mild hop, grapefruit and wort. Taste is more malt forward to begin but then the bitter hops and citrus peal really hit. Very bitter finish. More malt than I would like and would like to see a little more fruit come in.

Sampler tray at the brewery. Another badass beer from a great little brewpub. Sticky head, clear orange pour. Big time citrus and floral notes on the nose. Flavor is bitter hops, more orange peel and grapefruit pulp. Everything about this beer appeals to me. Very impressed.
