Cloudy gold pour, nice frothy white head. Very resist and bright hop flavors up front, bitterness creeps in and then citrus and grassy flavors take over. Very nice.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2012 Tap @ brewpub. Clear, dark golden appearance with a white head. Piney, organic hoppy, a bit spicy aroma. A little sharp spiciness up front followed by a pretty sappy, piney hoppy flavor. Lots of lingering resin. Carbonation is a bit low.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
In short: An intense and sharp blonde IPA. I liked it a lot
How: Tap at Blind Tiger, NYC
The look: Clear golden blonde body topped by a long-lasting small off-white head
In long: Uber-hoppy nose full of grassy and citrusy hops. Taste has plenty of bready honeyed chewy pale malts, fresh mangos, followed by a generous amount of high alpha acid hops. Sharp biting bitterness. Grapefruits, yellowed grass, lemon skin, pine needles, etc. A bit of acidity. Very long finish. Medium body, medium carbonation. Very tasty beer but not too aggressive, almost sessionnable. This was a excellent American IPA for the true hophead, and made in Nebraska!?!?!? My god, the proliferation of quality Americans micros has now reached States that don’t matter.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft from International Tap House-Soulard. Pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a small off-white head that laces the glass. Aroma of super fresh herbal hops, earth, citrus peel, and sweet malts. Really nice hoppy aroma. Flavor of herbal, earthy hops, grains, pale malts, straw, and cereal. Light-bodied, with a dry, bitter mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Big nose on this IPA but the flavor doesn’t quite measure up to the initial promise.
