4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Growler @ Breukelen Bier Merchants, day of the keg tapping - One of the best IPAís Iíve had in quite a while other than Alpineís Nelson. Huge full light round sweet floral grassy hop bouquet with grapefruit and some pine. Tastes of sweet caramel malt, more grapefruit, slightly acidic, very pleasantly bitter. I breathed out my nose and it burned a little. Appears clear burnt orange with an impressive head that never completely goes away and great lacing all the way up.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Huge citrus nose that can be smelled if the beer is simply on the table. Flavor leads with hop character followed by a nice maltiness - out of balance tilted toward the hops.
Reminiscent of a west-coaster. Big, definitely a bold statement.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Mad Mex, Cranberry. Huge hop aroma. Funky, cat pee, citrus, resin, ozone. Fruity notes with a bit of caramel and brewed iced tea. Medium golden amber clear with thin lacing creamy head. Medium-light body with mild carbonation. Starts with medium malt sweetness, caramel and light sugar. Fruity character, then drummed on by tons of fresh hop flavor. Big bitterness thatís not too harsh until the very after. A bitter chalky residue on the tongue. Nice IPA.

Cask with Chinook and Juniper at Sugar Maple. Filtered deep amber-tan. Creamy thick beige/off-white head. The juniper really shows up, quite a nice firkin. Mellow carbonation as to be expected, fluffy and right on. Full bodied but not overbearing. Excellent balance. Nice stuff.

Growler. Thanks scrivvlebivvle. Crystal clear dark amber with a loose and sudsy white head. Big tangy and citric nose, lots of orange and tangerine. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Tangy caramel, orange, and grapefruit on the mid palate. Long citric finish.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Big fruity nose, lots of citrus, lemon, grapefruit, oranges, toast and caramel. Pours amber, nice lasting head and decent lace. The flavor is nice and citrusy up front, juicy and fruity, mild caramel on the mid palate and dry toasty notes in the finish. Lingering chewy fruity hops. Very drinkable, solid IPA. More please.

On tap at Mad Mex. This is a really great IPA, copper color, just slightly hazy, modest head with some lacing, full of malts and Hops with some medicinal notes and lots of aromatics.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
In short: An intense and sharp blonde IPA. I liked it a lot
How: Tap at Blind Tiger, NYC
The look: Clear golden blonde body topped by a long-lasting small off-white head
In long: Uber-hoppy nose full of grassy and citrusy hops. Taste has plenty of bready honeyed chewy pale malts, fresh mangos, followed by a generous amount of high alpha acid hops. Sharp biting bitterness. Grapefruits, yellowed grass, lemon skin, pine needles, etc. A bit of acidity. Very long finish. Medium body, medium carbonation. Very tasty beer but not too aggressive, almost sessionnable. This was a excellent American IPA for the true hophead, and made in Nebraska!?!?!? My god, the proliferation of quality Americans micros has now reached States that donít matter.

Draft. Orange pour with tan head. Plenty of lacing. Citrus and pine forward aroma. Flavor follows and has some earthy tones. Decent.
