On tap at brewpub. Black colored pur with thick off white head. Roasted, chocolate aroma. Slighty sweet, but salty finish. Not bad.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours black with a beautiful thick creamy head that remains until last gulp. The roasted chocolate flavor also yields a discernable calcium sulfate salty taste. The balance and body is vastly drinkable in balance and this renders quite a smooth and pleasurable stout to drink. Definitely the best stout made in Omaha today. Remarkably thick head. The stout is fairly sweet and delicious.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at NBC. Pours black with light tan head. Aroma of roasted malts and chocolate with a tiny bit of brown sugar. Flavor is chocolatey with some coffee. Mouthfeel is somewhat thin for the style. Not too bad.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nitro tap at the brewpub. The permanent head was dense and light khaki while it topped the required black, yet almost milky looking body. The aroma was milk chocolate and anise. There was also a little bit of molasses sweetness. The taste was largely coffee and added a strong roast component to the brew. There was also a little bit of molasses. A decent beer that would have been better without the nitro.
