This was an average pumpkin beer. Below smuttynose but lots better than the upslope garbage I had at the dia de los muertos party.

12oz can, thanks to voodoofish65usf for sharing. Clear orange color. Thin off-white ring of head, some loose dots of lace. Nice pumpkin, mild to moderate spice nose. Cool aroma. Taste is a slight bit rougher. Some mild creme in the aroma. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick finish. Mildly thin and watery, but not so bad. Easy enough to sip. Not bad at all. Not much to the body, but the flavor is reasonably balanced. Not bad to sip on while chatting with friends.

Bought in New Haven. Had trouble finding non-ipa there, but I did get the Elm City Pilsner which was very good. This Nebraska had a long pumpkin flavor, whereas most pumpk beers are shallow in pumpk.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A- Dirty diapers, spices, malty, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon.
A- Orange color, clear liquid, minimal head.
T- Spices, pumpkin, cloves, coriander, cinnamon, malty, nutmeg, slightly sweet.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish.
O- The smell is a little funky but it gives you the idea of what you are about to imbibe. The taste is that of a pumpkin spice bread. Tons and tons of spices, primarily cinnamon and nutmeg. Also some pumpkin flavors, naturally. This was good overall, but wasn’t anything I would run for again.

Clear amber with a fuzzy eggshell colored head. Aroma of pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice, caramel, and toast. Tastes mostly caramel and toasty pumpkin with moderate spice for the style. Smooth, light-medium body with below average carbonation. Pretty good amber pumpkin brew.
