COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of the classic English-style Nut Brown Ale has a blend of 6 different malts and very little hop bitterness. The malts are nutty and sweeter tilting toward coffee, toffee, and caramel.

Can. Pours a slightly hazy brown color with a smallish light tan head on there. Nose is a bit light, but has some toasting and nuttiness coming through with just a hint of toffee. Taste has just a hint of sweetness, but is dominated by a crisp caramel-toast note. Interesting brew.

Can at home. Pours brown with one finger of off white head. Aroma is slightly malty and some toffee/caramel. Flavor follows with some nuttiness. Slightly sweet. Decent beer.

Deep hazy nutty amber with a thin light beige head. Basic brown ale nose of nutty pale chocolate malt and earthiness. Medium body with a quasi boring brown ale malt body. This brown ale is a prime example of why I’m bored of brown ales. No nuance, no fuss. Just brown malts on a medium palate.

On tap at FreshCraft. Light brown, amber and clear appearance with an off-white head. Mild and easy to drink with nutty malts. caramel, toffee and light coffee notes. Light to medium body with a smooth finish. Solid brown.

Poured from can. Pours brown with a off white head. Light roasted malt aroma with nuttiness. Flavor is a sweet caramel malt with roasted notes and nutty malt flavor. Very nice.

Draft. A reasonable brown, light medium body, mild nutty flavors, moderate carbonation. Good balance ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Weak aroma of malt pours a cloudy brown color with no head. Watery feel with a light malt taste and transient malt finish.

Definitely one of the more interesting brown ales I’ve had considering the style is one of the most boring IMO. Nice coffee aromas.. Some roasted nuts too. Flavors are coffee with notes of burnt caramel. Solid brew.

From a can. Pours clear nut brown with a touch of orange, and a 1-finger off-white head. Aroma of nutty malt with a light citrus note beneath. Medium body, with a slightly oily thickness and a brief finish. Flavor of nutty malt, with a touch of caramel and a light note of citrus underneath.

Can from Sake Taniguchi (World Beer Market). Sweet, nutty ose, with spiced-up caramel, grass, and very light cocoa. Reddish/amber color. Rich roast malt, a touch earthy, bread, light herbs, and a sweet malty finish. Light body, with some metallic notes. Pleasant. Great nose; flavors okay.
