Can. Translucent amber pour with a medium, dense white head. Aroma is caramel atop floral hops, citrus and light pine. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, floral hops, light pine and citrus notes. Body is medium with a soft, creamy carbonation. Ends with more caramel, toasted dark bread, sweet malt, light toffee, floral hops and fruit notes.

Can. Pours a vivid orange-gold with a high, off-white, lacy, mixed-grain head. Nose is bright and floral with herbal notes; there’s thyme and menthol elements. Good bitterness on the front of the mouth and a strong, orange citrus punch; there is also an underlying umami/hard cheese note. Finish turns sweeter as the orange-caramel malt comes to the forefront. Light carbonation. Nice.

kramer (5108) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 11, 2014
Can. Pours a clear light copper body under a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin film and left a bit of lace. The nose is light floral and citrusy hops over a slightly sweet caramel malt base. The flavor is a little lacking in hops, even for an APA. A little too much husky and grainy malt and way too much lingering sweetness. This doesn’t really even come across as a Pale Ale, it’s more like an Amber. Light bodied with soft gentle carbonation and a lingering sweetness. Pretty boring stuff.

Draft at B terminal at OMA airport. Pours a clear copper color with a frothy tan head. Light, hoppy aroma with grassy notes. Sweet, hoppy taste. Starts wet and finishes dry. Good balance. My first Nebraska beer I believe. Very impressed. Excited to try more.

Caramel, pineapple, pine needle. Crystal clear amber, thick yellow head. Honey and dandelion. Subtle malt finish. Medium balance, soft carbonation. Good balance, great flavor, extra sessionable. Damn fine APA.

Can. A- Tangerines, citrus, hoppy, piney, woody. A- Orange color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Citrus, bitter, pine, tangerines. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- Not near as bitter as I was expecting. A fair amount of citrus, but not really that much depth. It was good but nothing I’d really crave.

Cardinal Pale Ale from Nebraska Brewery pours a beautiful copper gold with a foamy white head. Served in a pint glass it has a piney resinous aroma with hints of grapefruit. Medium bodied with a somewhat scratchy mouthfeel that says "I am here". In terms of flavor it is a clean zesty pine with a dash of citrsu/grapefruits and possibly some floral/herbal elements in the finish. A solidly satisfying pale ale.

12 oz can purchased at Lukas Liquors in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is slight hazed copper orange with a one inch light tan head that falls with nice lacing. The aroma is dusty, some grass, bit of citrus. The taste is a decent balance of orange citrus hops, the grass and cracker malt. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft natural carbonation and a clean crisp finish. Solid Pale Ale.
