EOS, the Goddess of the Dawn, is fitting for the golden aspects of the color and striking aromatics this unfiltered Bavarian-Style Hefeweizen beer delivers.
Medium body and a huge banana-like aroma creates a wonderful drinkability unlike many others.
Immensely pleasurable.

This is an awesome hefe. Big banana and sweet pastry aromas. Almost like a pie. It’s all about banana cream pie flavors too, with a touch of citrus at the end. One of the best hefe’s I’ve had.

12 oz. can, consumed on 1-3-15. Pours a clear, effervescent gold. Quite bubbly. Large amount of cream-colored head. Produces decent lacing. I wish it were cloudy instead of clear, but the effervescence at least largely makes up for that deficiency in appearance. It is lightly cloudy only in the final pour. Yeasty, wheaten smell features scents of overripe banana and minerals. Quite pleasant aroma. Nice flavor matches but doesn’t rise up to the aroma. Not as strong in aroma or flavor as should be. Spicy finish (coriander, clove). Light body; aqueous in the palate. Overall, this is a decent hefeweizen, although it doesn’t smell as outstandingly good as many other hefeweizens do. I wish there were more strength and complexity to it.

Pours hazy golden-amber with a 1-finger white head. Stereotypical aroma of banana esters with a touch of yeast. Medium body, with a lightly syrupy thickness and a dry finish. Flavors of lemon and honey, with some black pepper at the back. Some earthy yeast as well.

Can. Pours a very hazy gold-yellow with a high, fine-grained, white head. Nose is tropical fruit, clove, honey, and nutmeg. Very substantial on the palate; it has some real heft to it, with toast and umami notes behind the fruit and sweetness. Lots of depth to it. Finish is long, lemony, and spicy. There are few American hefes I consider worth the time; this is one of them.

Can. Cloudy gold with a medium, foamy white head . Banana, bubblegum, yeast and wheat in the nose. Taste is wheat, banana, bubblegum, yeast, light lemon and soft spices. Body is light and bubbly with a soft carbonation. Ends with more bubblegum, yeast, wheat notes, toasted grains, candied fruit and soft spices.

Can at OMA airport. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a thick white head. Banana and citrus notes in the aroma. Wheaty and malty taste with some lemon and banana notes. Really good brew.

Can. Pours a hazy dark gold body under a one finger frothy white head that faded rather quickly to a thin film. The aroma is nicely fruity and has a good amount of esters from the hefe yeast. Some nice bubble gum and light clove notes. The flavor is pretty solid, a good amount of yeastiness and esters with a very soft wheat base. Light bodied with soft gentle carbonation. Pretty decent American Hefe.

Can. Nice. Light and spritzy, bananas and creaminess, but with some berries too, strawberry, or cherry. Grainy. Light clove spiciness. Ice cream. Good stuff
