COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop God is a beautiful golden crossbreed of a Belgian Tripel and a West Coast IPA. Combining the best attributes of each style in a remarkable way, this beer explodes with spiciness, tropical fruit, and an intense citrus bitterness that will leave you begging for more! Enjoyed this beer as part of a sampler pack at the Nebraska Brewing Company with Family. I am not a huge hop head, but I enjoy a good hoppy beer now and again. This was one of the best I have tasted. Definitely recommend trying. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Bottle. Very sexy-looking pour -- muted orange, with a roiling head of white foam that hangs on for the duration. The aroma is a bit yeasty and hints at some spice. But while this drinks like a gritty Belgian golden ale, it also carries a distinct fruit salad aspect. Way to easy to drink for 10%. (#4936, 1/25/2013)

Bottle from the Best Damn Beer Shop in San Diego. Pours clear light amber with a thick white head and a floral aroma. There is a nice pale malt flavor with some banana ester and a very dry finish. A nice combination of styles.

Bottle. Hazy variegated golden amber color, large thick cream colored head with decent lacing. Aroma of vanilla, lemongrass, light pine. Taste is vanilla, stone fruit, grass, pine. Definitely a big beer, good bottle to share.

On tap at the Foundry: pours hazy pale golden, minimal bubbly white head that settles to a ring. Nose is pineapple, wheat, Belgian yeast, definitely smells like a Tripel. Rich bodied. Some fresh green hop notes that unfolds a grainy, Tripel beer that has some nuances that are unique. Solid BPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a BIG beer. Very heavy, doesnít drink as well as it could. But hop character is very good. This is my first offering from this brewer and I like it. Iíll keep my eye out for these guys.

On tap. This drinks like an american hopped belgian. I am not a fan. Iíve had better experiments in the Belgian IPA category, Good malt and hop balance, but the flavors and aromas didnít mesh for me.

On tap at GTMW. Poured cloudy, lighter peach with a nice beige head. The aroma was sweet and warm with apricot, pale malt, and honey notes leading.. peppery accents.. just a touch too sweet. The flavor was on the sweet side as well, with apricots and other light-skinned fruits leading.. warm peppery notes plus some tangy fruit skins around.. finished hot with spicy hops and alcohol over bready malts. Heavier-bodied with high bitterness on the palate.. good feel and flow.. I enjoyed this.

Pour on tap at Avery IPA fest, hazy yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of pepper, white grape, peach, slight biscuit, hints of grass, pine, sweet orange and caramel notes as well, overly ripe tropical fruit slightly come in as well. Taste is a mix of sweet orange, tropical fruit, white fruit, touch of peach, biscuit, earth, grassy notes, finishing sweet, slightly bitter. Tasty!

On tap at the Inaugural Boulder IPA Fest. Pour is hazy lemon peel with a one-finger white head. Lemon peel, pepper, spicy hops, banana, and esters in the aroma. Taste is biscuit, banana, spice, floral hops, and grass ending moderately bitter. Medium body with medium carbonation. Tasty stuff. Nice!
