A beautiful golden crossbreed of a Belgian Tripel and a West Coast IPA. Combining the best attributes of each style in a remarkable way, this beer explodes with spiciness, tropical fruit, and an intense citrus bitterness that will leave you begging for more! On tap at the Inaugural Boulder IPA Fest. Pour is hazy lemon peel with a one-finger white head. Lemon peel, pepper, spicy hops, banana, and esters in the aroma. Taste is biscuit, banana, spice, floral hops, and grass ending moderately bitter. Medium body with medium carbonation. Tasty stuff. Nice!

This is a BIG beer. Very heavy, doesn’t drink as well as it could. But hop character is very good. This is my first offering from this brewer and I like it. I’ll keep my eye out for these guys.

Poured from a keg at Nebraska brewing company. Yellow pour. Very fruity and bitter but good. Balanced well between a IPA and a hef

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2009 (Draught) Pours a cloudy golden body with a small white head. Aroma of grapefruit, nuts, herbal, dusty pine, grass, mango, and pepper. Flavor of grass, orange, grapefruit rind, earth, plenty of herbal character, Belgian yeast, and toasted grain with nice bitterness in the finish.

GTMW 2009: Golden hue with a small head but very good lace. The aroma has notes of Belgian yeast esters, toffee, wine barrels, mango, apple, piney resiny and peppery hops. The taste is acidic and spicy with a fair amount of hop play in front and upon the finish. Bready malts and an earthy Belgian yeast undertone before a chewy biscuity finish. The mouth feel is lively and sharp, works nicely within the framework of the flavors. A real nice surprise, YUMMY, Yeah for Nebraska! (This should be listed as a DIPA IMO)

Orange amber color. Citrus aroma, yeasty citrus taste. Finish is grassy and citrus and lingers. Hop load is large and diverse - I taste more each sip
