Our West Coast inspired India Pale Ale is rich in flavor and abundant in citrus, pine, and floral aromatics created through a wonderful infusion of Citra hops. Completely refreshing and possessing a medium mouthfeel, crisp bitterness, and nearly balanced malts. Finishes dry with a head that creates beautiful lacing down the entire glass. A truly inspired and coveted IPA.

Poured from can into snifter. Wonderful burnt orange, medium head and lacing, classic west coast aroma, but the finish...the finish is not good. Lingering bitterness that coats the tongue. Best to have chips and salsa nearby. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home on a great Tuesday summer evening with perfect weather after a run. Appearance is dark gold with a rich white head that laces to the glass. Aroma is a great balance of grassy hops with citrus undertones, decently hoppy. Taste is delicious, great balance with a great hop profile. Really enjoyable stuff!

Can from a trade. Nose is tropical with pine resin. Drank from can. Taste is a mix of strong pine and citrus pithy bitterness. Barely and malt sweetness. Nice and crisp. Pretty decent.

Clear, deep golden pour with a white head. The aroma has pine and herbal hops. It has a medium body with oily texture and lively carbonation. The taste grows in bitterness from start to finish.

Originally rated on 11/20/14. Cool can, the lid peels back kinda like a fruit cup, the can will make a nice pencil holder with the large hole.Extra point in the overall category for that. Copper colored body with a thick fluffy head that receded to a thin film. Nice aromas some citrus and pine with some sweetness and biscut.Flavor is much the same A touch of citrus and biscut up front changing to pine on the back side. Overall its a decent IPA.

May be my first from Nebraska. Pours clear Amber with a thin head. The aroma reminds me more of an English style than west coast. Lots of malt. The flavor has the malt sweetness up front and the hops kick in late. Nice bitter finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Julio’s. Copper with lasting head and lace. Very piney resiny aroma with some old wooden orange boxes. Caramel toffee slightly toasted with peachy fruit sweetness and piney sticky finish. Medium body. Very West Coast and very bitter woody piney. Okay.

Can. Light amber/golden body. Bubbly off-white head. Aroma of leafy hops, grapefruit, pine, resin, citrus. toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Taste starts with orange and citrus. Finishes with bitter resin. Sweetness helps keep this from being a pine/resin bomb. Clean malts.

Crisp light copper coloured body with a one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of cardboard, light malt, citrus and herbal hops with a grassy and resinous scent as well and a faint bit of honey. Medium-bodied; Very resinous and grassy flavour at first with some sweetness noticeable right afterwards and a floral/piney touch at the end. Aftertaste is rather one-dimensional with the grassy hop notes showing through, but no real malt nor sweetness, rather underwhelming. Overall, a decent IPA at best, but a bit too flat and non-expressive, but at least it isn’t too deep or offputting, just a rather one-sided beer. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia on 31-January-2015 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 22-May-2015.
