Our West Coast inspired India Pale Ale is rich in flavor and abundant in citrus, pine, and floral aromatics created through a wonderful infusion of Citra hops. Completely refreshing and possessing a medium mouthfeel, crisp bitterness, and nearly balanced malts. Finishes dry with a head that creates beautiful lacing down the entire glass. Pours amber with three fingers of off white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, pine, grass and a slightly sweet maltiness. Taste is mostly pine, a little grapefruit, lingering bitterness. Pretty dull and thin mouth feel. Overall this is a pleasant, easy drinking IPA.

Can from Craft Beer Base, 6.9% it pours a deep copper with a big foamy off-white head & great lacing that clings to the glass. The aroma is a wonderful mix of fruits and resinous dank weedy pine. Medi to full bodied with a pleasingly full mouthfeel and a palate cleansing dry finish that has you yearning for another sip. The taste is bitter with a touch of boozy heat, pine bark woodsy hoppiness with a touch of fruity notes. The overall taste is nicely balanced and you get a touch of biscuit from the malts that provides a hearty counterpoint to the hops. While it won’t be blowing you away it will definitely satisfy you - good stuff.

From a can...pours dark amber with a 1-inch head and heavy lacing. Underwhelming aroma with a feint hint of pine. Hoppy taste without much bite and an under carbonated finish. Mislabeled as a West Coast IPA; yet still a decent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

If there’s a gripe to be made with Nebraska Brewing’s IPA it’s that the aroma is underwhelming. While you do get some woodsy hop smells and caramel malts, you’ll find yourself thinking how much better this ale could have smelled with some additional dry-hopping. That aside, this IPA proves that Nebraska can produce a solid hoppy brew. The copper-orange color, smooth head, and clear body are phenomenal. (Awesome can, as well.) Taste is great. Cedar, pine, evergreen, grapefruit, and herbaceous spice. The balance is the most outstanding feature - excellent harmony between hops and malt. Mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing. A clean finish on the palate and lingering bitterness on the tongue. There’s some warmth, too. In all, this is a supremely crushable IPA with moderate bitterness.

12 ounce can from Beer Run, opened 10/3/14. Pours a clear dark amber with a large foamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of piney, resin, green hops. The taste is earthy, piney, resin hops, caramel malt. Medium bodied, decent balance, moderate lingering bitterness. Nice IPA

12 oz can The IPA poured a clear amber color with frothy head and lacing. The off white head had good retention. The nose detected pine and citrus hops. The medium body ale had average carbonation. The flavor favored the resin hops with moderate bitterness. Quiet bitterness grows into the swallow for a clean, gentle finish.

Can. Pours a very nice dark gold with a bone-white, medium-grained, lacy head. Nose is lime, rose, spruce, and rosemary. Bitter but not astringent on the tongue, with a caramel-orange malt background to balance things out very nicely. Mouthfeel is incredible -- velvety and rich without being cloying, and the finish is long, tingly, bitter, and yet smooth and elegant. Very nice IPA.

Can. A- Citrus, piney, spruce, resin, hoppy. A- Copper color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Bitter, subtle citrus, pine, resin. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- A lot more bitterness and pine than I was expecting for the Citra hops and a lot less citrus. If you like IPA’s this is pretty solid, but personally, I was not a fan. I am feeling less and less enthusiastic about the strongest brewer from my home state.

Quenching IPA with an extremely bitter hop profile. Dry finish. Plenty of citrus notes, and a grassy, herbal complexity.
