Tasted at East Nash Beer Fest. Rather liked this brewery in general. This wit beer was perhaps my favorite of the day. Light with white pepper. Lemon, orange peel. Coriander. Some yeastiness and a bit tart. Nice beer. Full despite being light.

Draft at Rattle with Andrew. Pours a bright hazy orange. Aroma is lemon, yeast, wheat and a nice light sour tartness. Mouthfeel is smooth, but crisp with great sour citrus notes, earthy lemon, yeast, and wheat.

On tap at Flying Saucer in Kansas City. A nice foamy white head with lots of lacing and a cloudy gold body. The aroma is strong on citrus with a fair amount of yeast too. The taste is the same, with the yeast stronger in the aftertaste and the hops adding just a small amount of bitterness.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2012 Tap @ Crescent Moon. Cloudy, light banana yellow appearance with a small, white head. Coriander, moderately spicy, orange peel, yeasty, witbier aroma. Slightly spicy, orange peel, coriander, easy drinking witbier. Carbonation seems a bit low, though I could be wrong. Pretty good witbier. Refreshing.

On tap at the Brickhouse BBQ Beer Spot Great Taste pre-party. It’s a witbier and they’re all pretty much the same. Murky yellow with a white topper. Aroma of coriander, orange peel and yeast. Taste of coriander, orange peel and yeast. A bit milder and very dry on the finish.

[Tap] Pours a milky yellow color with a large cap of white head. Wit yeast, coriander and wheat malt in the nose. The taste is of sweet light malts, spices, a light funk, citrus and other light fruits. Decent body, with a high carbonation level. Lingering sweet malt and residual sugars. Pretty good, and easy to drink.

Draft at International Tap House-Soulard. Pours a hazy, dull yellow color with a centimeter of white froth that laces the glass. Aroma of wheat, coriander, banana, lemon and orange citrus, and doughy white bread. Flavor follows the same lines, with orange citrus, banana, sweet dough, coriander, and wheat. Light-bodied, with a really dry mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Faint sweetness lingers along with a mineral note on the finish. Nice wit.
