Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a very thick and effervescent off-white head. Nose is quite hoppy, with some nice floral tones up front followed by some grapefruit and citrus notes. Taste is actually a little sweet and not too bitter, which surprised me. Decent, but not great.

First time Iíve seen these beers around here. Open bottle lets the dull ipa perfume abound. Strong bitter oily mouth coating soapy stuff. Its 7% and you know it. Weird how I never get used to the taste of good ipa. Pine tar sap. Appears rather viscous. wew. Less 0.1 since it lingers so terribly long in the back of my mouth.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear copper with a medium white head. Light to medium hops aroma thatís a bit musty and earthy. There is a medium to heavy bitterness. It has a medium body with a somewhat creamy/sticky texture and a bitter finish. Overall itís a decent IPA with nothing much that really stands out.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a soft golden yellow with one to two fingers of frothy white head. Nose has a nice citrus juice sweetness to it with a nice floral character and touch of pine resin. Very very nice flavor, wonderful balance of sweet and dry shop notes. Citrus rind and a spicy bitterness with a lightly juicy/fruit undertone. Some pine resin. Medium light body with a firm bitterness on the finish.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. Pours dark amber with almost no head at all. Piney hop aroma. No pine in the taste though. Sweet malt and fruity hop flavor. Tasted a little dirty.

Solid IPA but not as hoppy as some of the other IPAs that I like. Easy to drink. Tastes of grapefruit.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nectar IPA has a thick, creamy, off-white head, a mostly clear, golden-orange, bubbly appearance, and fairly thick lacing left behind on the glass. The aroma is of sweet, somewhat fruity, hop oil, white bread, and sugar. Taste is of fairly strong and bitter hops, sweet malt, bread crust, slight fruit (oranges), and unsalted cracker. The hop oil bitterness is strong, but not overly so. Mouthfeel is medium and oily, and Nectar IPA finishes dry, easy drinking, and sweet. Overall, this is a mellow and delicious ale. RJT

Good beer, but not memorable. Without my notes I would never have remembered that I tried it. Pours Amber with white head and decent lacing. Scent is very sweaty. A bit sweet and lacking in hop character. One and done. Draft - Owl Cafe Tap Room - Apalachicola, FL
