Our IPA is created from a base of Pale and Crystal malts and is aggressively hopped throughout the brewing process with a final hop addition in the conditioning vessel. A beautiful flowery hop aroma will greet you as you dive into this hop lover’s dream. A middle caramel malt presence balances high hop bitterness with hop flavor end to end... learn to love hops! (Editor’s Note: originally brewed by Humboldt Brewing Company under the name "Humboldt IPA Nectar" until their acquisition by Firestone Walker.)

Tap at Lazy Dog. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a thin layer of off white head. Aroma of bitterness and malts. Same in the taste, with a nice balance.

A very nice sweet malty hoppy beer. very light on hop but enjoyable non the less. FAding head. Good on the tongue very enjoyable. Sweet as nectar, brewed in Cali? Well they did what you said. Could be hoppy but I understand.

Pours a nice light amber brown with half an inch of cream colored head that faded into wisps, a medium collar and very good lacing. Aroma is toasty/bready malt, with faint pint and citrus hops. Taste is appropriately bitter, with the bready malt taking main stage. There’s some earthy and piney hops behind the big malt presence. Nice bitter bite on the tongue, medium body and med-high carbonation.

Not my cup of tea (bottle of beer). It’s an IPA for sure, but it is lacking somehow. It would probably taste good if I was drinking it while touring the brewery.

A vibrant sunny clear amber body sits beneath a loosely structured 2" off white head, falling in a couple minutes to a frothy cap and ring with erratic splotchy lace all around

Juicy sweet citrus highlights rich floral notes with pine and melon accents with little bitterness, over a sweet caramely malt base, all on an exceptionally smooth, lightly drying medium body with well controlled carbonation

12oz bottle served at 45º into Spiegelau IPA glass

[Bottle] Pour is a deep amber color with about a half inch of dense white head. Strong floral hop nose is accented with caramel and lighter tropical fruits. Taste comes across as more bitter. Pine sap and grapefruit hoppiness. Sticky caramel provides balance. Syrupy, with low carbonation. Tasting notes from early 2012.

12oz bottle, brownish pour, hop aroma...YES!!! An interesting hoppy brew. Not as hoppy as I would like, but not sweet either. A nice balance, good hop flavors, hints of caramel and grassy hops. Good brew, definitely worth the try!!

@ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Aroma of citrus and malt. Deep amber color, long-lasting rocky light tan head, sheets and swirls of lace. Taste is smooth honey malt going in that adds citrus hops deep in the palate, only to relent and grow sweeter as it fades. A nice drinking beer. Recommended.

On tap at the Yard House, Houston. As Yard House IPA. A small, dense off-white head sits on top of a hazy, golden-orange body. The aroma is mostly on the piney side, with orange peel, some apricots and a little malty touch. Some bitterness in the mouth, should have more I think. Orange peel, pine cones and a little malty sweetness. Full body, nice co2 level. A bit short in the end, but there’s at least a nice piney flavor and some orange. Overall, sure a nice one, easy drinkable and next to quenching. 140514
