Our IPA is created from a base of Pale and Crystal malts and is aggressively hopped throughout the brewing process with a final hop addition in the conditioning vessel. A beautiful flowery hop aroma will greet you as you dive into this hop lover’s dream. A middle caramel malt presence balances high hop bitterness with hop flavor end to end... learn to love hops! (Editor’s Note: originally brewed by Humboldt Brewing Company under the name "Humboldt IPA Nectar" until their acquisition by Firestone Walker.)

Hoppy aroma; somewhat perfumy, but nice. Fresh and floral. Clear amber body with a very slightly off-white head. Quickly, but not fully diminishing head. No lace. No haziness. First sip suggests more of an APA than an IPA. Second sip hops come through. This is a very drinkable and smooth IPA with exceptional balance. Whenver I saw the Nectar Ales before, I thought, perhaps subconsiously, that they were nectar or juice and stayed away. Looking for a new IPA six pack, I saw this and decided to give it a shot. Pleasant surprise. This is a session beer if there ever was one. Really good.

Fiery orange-red body, thick off-white head, leaves nice lacing. Aroma of grapefruity and piney hops residues and toast. Flavor is a swirl of floral and citrusy hops, with a bitter, earthy finish. Creamy, soft.

Tap. Good and crisp single IPA. I have had so many double ipa’s lately that a single was very light. Not to take that away from this, it tasting very fresh, and the hop was right up front just like I like a single ipa. Would order again.

clear golden/orange hue with no head, smells like alc, weak on the hops, warming, not what I think of when I think of an IPA...

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2007 12 oz bottle via Liquid Solutions. Pours a clear amber with a small head. Nose is mostly orange and caramel. Taste is the same, with a somewhat hot acidic finish. Bittersweet honey/english hop aftertaste makes you long for the next drink. Medium body, lightly carbonated. ...a very good...no- a GREAT brew.

This was a very good IPA and a new find for me at my local bar that specializes in craft beers. Nice orange color with a thin white head. Hops abound, this is a great beer for the style and one I will revisit.

Amber with a nice bubbly head. Sweet floral aroma with some citrus. Sticky sweet taste with a good grapefruit/orange hop bite. Lots of caramel malt, but a decent balance. Long grapefruit finish.

Clear amber color – white frothy thick big bubble head – nose of nice bitter hopps , tobacco , grapefruit , floral , and slight various grains – taste of bitter hopps , resiny , floral , and citrus in the background malt – sour / acidic body – aftertaste slightly bitter with hopps and citrus lingering

This has a big piney aroma.....love that. Pours a bright orange with an off white head. Lacing is plentiful. There’s not much to dislike about this IPA. Caramelly, fruity front end with a balanced, hoppy finish. Very good for the style.
