3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour deep red to bronze. Nose has elements of burnt caramels, raisins, light flowery hops. Flavor is similar. Not a lot going on in this beer but the dryness is really there and keeps this drinkable.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Brownish color. Smells a little hoppy. Yes, some hops in the flavor but less than I was expecting according to the smell. Some hops attempt to build during the session but never quite gets there. Yes, overall not a bad beer. Some spice in there. Some sizzle. Generally a laid back almost hoppy beer. Just enough hops to let you know its malt backed by a medium low hop kick. As the session nears the end I think I detect a very mild hint of tartness in there.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Red Nectar has a thick, foamy, off-white head, a mostly clear, brown-red appearance, with lots of streaming bubbles and some thin lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, rich, slightly tannic malt and a touch of a hop zing. Taste is of a bit of a citrus aspect, tannin, medium-roasted barley, sweetness, bread crust, and a mild bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium and lager like, and Necatar Ale Red Ale finishes mostly dry, refreshing, and easy drinking. Overall, this is a really nice beer, and I score it most excellent. RJT

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This brew has a very doughy, fruity smell to it. The smell is very sweet. It is sort of a plum color with a full head that is a light tan that clings well to the side. It has a well combined mix of spices and yeast the is pleasant.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A very pretty pour--deep ruby with a dense white head. Generally sweet with lots of caramel malt, a bit of spice and hop bite at the end. OK but a little two-dimensional.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clean and soft ruby copper with one finger of sudsy tan head. Nose shows a light malt sweetness with some toasted grain.
Crisp flavor, more dry than expected. A dry and woody hop character with notes of peanut hull and citrus rind. Very zesty. Clean flavor with a good balance of hops and malt. Unassuming and very drinkable with a nice citric character on the finish.
