Good light bitter taste, less sweet. Just a light hint of toasty metallic. Good, refreshing amber - red ale.

Orange-copper, clear, beige head. Moderate aroma of bready malt with toffee. Flavor is malty with bread crusts, toasty notes, some toffee, a very light fruity note and just enough bitterness to prevent it from being too sweet. A good malty amber.

Dark copper pour with a 2 finger, creamy, slightly soapy beige head that has decent retention and leaves good lacing. Aroma of caramel, citrus, crusty bread, spicy grain and earthy, woody notes. Flavor is sweet caramel and bready malt and yeast up front, then some earthy and spicy hops, husky grain, light woody notes and some bitter citrus and toast fade. Light to medium body with a neutral, but somewhat sharp acidic feel throughout and a light, slightly sharp feel throughout. Not bad, nothing to rave about, but on the better side for an Amber ale. I never take rating points from beers for the price I am willing to pay for them, but $12/6pk for this is a joke. I bought it on a whim, won’t do that again.
