12oz bottle shared. Poured deep ruby red almost mahogany. Aroma is malty goodness. The flavor is complex believe it or not. Nice medium malt backbone and some spiciness to it. There is some caramel in there as well one of the better ambers i have had.

Bottle. Poured clear dark ruby hue with medium frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Medium aroma of hop and sweet malt. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Well balanced flavor of malt and hop flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

Orange-copper, clear, beige head. Moderate aroma of bready malt with toffee. Flavor is malty with bread crusts, toasty notes, some toffee, a very light fruity note and just enough bitterness to prevent it from being too sweet. A good malty amber.

Well carbonated pour thick fluffy off white head over a red body. Avg pal. Malty grainy aroma like a red pale ale. Easy drinking a touch of grass in the finish. Enjoyable.

Dark copper pour with a 2 finger, creamy, slightly soapy beige head that has decent retention and leaves good lacing. Aroma of caramel, citrus, crusty bread, spicy grain and earthy, woody notes. Flavor is sweet caramel and bready malt and yeast up front, then some earthy and spicy hops, husky grain, light woody notes and some bitter citrus and toast fade. Light to medium body with a neutral, but somewhat sharp acidic feel throughout and a light, slightly sharp feel throughout. Not bad, nothing to rave about, but on the better side for an Amber ale. I never take rating points from beers for the price I am willing to pay for them, but $12/6pk for this is a joke. I bought it on a whim, won’t do that again.

12oz bottle from ABC on Betton. Copper pour with a sparse off-white head. Aroma is floral, caramel and orange. Tastes follow suit with grapefruit citrus and bready malts. Nice even floral bitter. Buttery thin to med palate. Pretty good.

Nuts, pine, and caramel in the aroma. Flavor is sweet and spicy, with grassy hop bitterness in the finish. If you like red ales (and I do), you won’t be disappointed.
