-Ample head sits over the opaque blackness.
-Roasted malt bitterness and molasses efficiently attract in both aroma and flavor profile.
-Huge malts and perfect carbonation make for a smashing body.
-Dark chocolate and nuts roam in this very fine schwarzbier.
-Not the most complex example, but it’s so rich and satisfying!

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 7, 2006 Dark caramel/burgundy colour. Huge lacing appears on top of the beige head. Fruity and sweet nose with highly floral aromatics. Blue grapes come across as an original dominant flavour. Cherry and light caramel back it all. Earthy and almost salty taste profile acts as a balancing lever between the gentle roastiness and the blue grapes fruitiness. Medium bodied, strongly malty, lightly earthy, powdery body. Fine example. pivo (2537), Germany

Slow start, with a big sweet middle like brown sugar. Toffee tones too. Very late arriving hop bitterness that is spicy on the front of the tongue. Fairyl substantial body. Too sweet for me, but a quality beer all around.
