Draught sample at Ma’abarot 10th Beer Festival. Clear yellow to pale golden color. Sweet fruity aroma with a lot of passion fruit and some flowers. Sweet flavor with some malt, bready notes, light sugary notes, passion fruit and a slightly drier finish with some hoppy bitterness and a bit of fruity acidity. Light to medium-bodied. Decent.

Bottle from Beer Market, Tel Aviv, July 2013. Hazy dark orange with a white head. Aroma and taste of passion fruit, candy and some malt. Very sweet and a bit artificial. Not a favorite.

Bottle. Cantaloupe melon color, nice hue but unfortunately it’s fizzy looking with no head. Aroma is natural and straightforward passionfruit, which carries through well into the palate. All passionfruit, seeds and all. It’s not a looker (too bad bc passionfruit has such a naturally lovely bright color) but it’s a very good attempt at a natural fruit beer.

33cl Bottle, obtained from DSG, thanks Barak! Shared with Plovmand, breakfast fruitjuice after Borefts BF. Cloudy golden colour, dense white head. Aroma of light sourish passionfruit, citrus, light spices, wheat. Flavour is light sweet, light sourish passionfruit, and lots of it, citrus, light grainy wheat flavour, a hint of spice like coreander. Tart lemon finish. Light bodied, bit thin mouthfeel.

330 ml. bottle obtained in the big Israeli trade. Shared @ the “pre-Club 54 tasting”. Very murky orange, super-murky, lots of stuff floating. Little white bubbles. Looks like very murky juice. Nose is very lactic, sour, mineral,… surely this isn’t intentional. Taste is very mineral, weird lactic, exotic fruit juice, thick lactic, very mineral, almost flat,…. Didn’t seem even remotely intentional. Drinkable – bland sour? Weird.

12 ouce bottle from Tov Taiim. Taste is honey and fruit. Sweet. Not there in nose, though, and that pulls from the experience. Nose is a golden ale/lager. Ok.
