Very little head, nice aroma & dark appearance which is a bit deceiving considering this beer is not very malty & somewhat watery, overall a decent beer but over priced

The trouble with buying imports in Slippery Rock is you never know how long its been sitting there. My bottles were a bit rusted round the cap. The beer lacks head but it is very nice in a glass or bottle. The aftertaste is strong but the rest is good. A nice mexican beer.

Dark appearance with average/non-offesive aroma. Goes down easy and pleasntly, has a good taste but nothing exceptional or noteworthy. A friendly drinking and eating beer that is above many other beer of its class that are more common.

Medium brown, just a hint of malt in the nose. Not too much going on here and therefore not offensive. I should try with some spicy burritos.

Medium sized offwhite head. Great clarity, brown/amber, good lookin beer. Slight malt nose. Light body, thin ,watery. Kinda malty tasting? I guess. Finish is semi dry. Bland.

No head to speak of. The nice dark appearance hints at more flavor than the beer actually delivers, but it is still a nice taste

The especial was crap, but this beer is surprisingly good. It has some malty flavor to it. THis is the best mexican beer I have ever had.

I think this may be the only Mexican beer that is O.K., Only O.K. Looks much better than it tastes or smells. Just not much there. I couldn't get past the citrus smell ( they do cram this down your throat with lime in the glass.) Flavor was bland slightly hoppy, But mostly water.

Bought in the unusually shaped ( and attracive) brown bottle..with the gold foil round the neck. This beer looks pretty good when piured into my glassdark amber colour large frothy head which lasts mere seconds and is replaced by a nice lace around the glass. The smell however is pretty average..i detect some hops mostly malt..not great. The taste is dissapointingly thin..though compared to Corona this is a Porter !!!! some malts..even a small amount of chocolate..not much hop bitterness. Pretty good in the mouthy..its smooth enough. Very drinkable with nice fresh made Mexican foods , which is were i drink this usually well its a bit better than tecate and a whole lot better than the "C" word
