First, let me say this is a favorite in Mexico and at mexican reseraunts and I will re-rate it in a better situation, but it was lunch time and I felt like rating. 12 oz bottle. Tasted at Chipotles in a laminated paper cup. Kinda hard to guage the color or head, but it was amber brown with a large off white head, nice lacing. It was served out of their fridge way too cold. Malty aroma. Malty, sweetish, roasty flavor, some hops backing that added a small amount of fruity/floral flavors. Nice dry finish with some lingering malt flavor. This was excellent with my spicy burrito.

this beer ain’t too bad for mexican crap, pours a nice dark brown with the consistency of a light porter, very german in style and taste like a bock, flavor seams somewhat like Pacifico but with a little more malt and a more flavorful body.

Clear, light brown color with a small off white head. Sweet malty aroma. Flavor of malt, caramel and a bit of hops on the finish. Thin bodied, but not a bad beer.

Thin white head, dark amber colour. Sweet-malty flavour, has hints of caramel and chocolate. A very drinkable beer, and a nice surprise coming from Mexico : it is much more than a thirst-quencher and can be enjoyed in cold countries as well.

Dark brown color with a small head. Slightly sweet aroma. Kind of a dirty malt flavor with just a pinch of hops. A tad grainy. It could have been far worse.

Bottle: Pours to a dark amber color with a tiny white head that quickly disppears. Sweet aroma of malt, candy, brown sugar? Thin body, watery, with some grains, caramel, chocolate, mild bitter hops, and a tiny bit of peppery yeast. Not nearly as bad as I expected.

Bottle poured a dark brown with an ok head and lots of carbonation and a sweet candy like aroma. Flavor is very good malt caramel with a good slightly bitter finish... this is a good beer.
