COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This dark vienna-munich type beer has had extraordinary acceptance in international markets. Exports to the U.S. began in the early 80´s, and have since attained great success in Europe, Australia, Central and South America.

Bottled. This beer poured a light brown color with a malty caramel nose. A lot of malt in this beer, but it is kinda one dimensional due to the lack of hops. A hops presence would surely make this a better beer.

Reddish-brown. Slight malt aroma. Decent malt flavor but definitely lacking. Light-bodied. If I had to drink anything from Mexico it would be this.

Has a pleasent fruity smell with a long standing head and full red-brown color. Has a strong initial flavor, but is really quite light and airy, especially for a 'dark' beer. Quick end. Easily my favorite mexican beer.

Dark amber color, quickly disappearing head, just a touch of fruit in the aroma, soft smooth flavor although somewhat faint, lightly carbonated, would chose over Corona in a Mexican resturant, if it cost about the same

Well this is better than most other Mexican beers that I have had. Some aromas of dark malt, some hop also noticable. Not bad, but the flavors are pretty tame.

Heavily carbonated. Brown. There is a roasted flavor with lots of malt and the taste of alcohol. Unimpressive.

Better than the dos equis amber I tasted it against. Faint malt aroma, red-orange, little head to speak of. Medium body and carbonation with a decent malt presence. Finishes fairly clean. Attractive bottling.

DOESN'T EVEN GO WELL WITH MEXICAN FOOD. TASTES MORE LIKE BAD TAP-WATER THAN ANYTHING. MAYBE I GOT A BAD BATCH.

Roasted malt flavor lives up to its gorgeous amber color (though still lighter than I prefer). Sweetness partially makes up for watery texture. Otherwise, unimpressive, but better than I had expected.
