3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours amber with a thin fizzy head, not much nose to speak of, malty and slightly sweet, very fizzy and refreshing. Cuts through mexican food like quacamole really well.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Chestnut brown in colour. Aromas are sweet caramel and whisky. Flavours have whisky, too along with sweet caramel malts. Tastes a bit chemical, then it does contain E300, E150 and E405.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Authentic Mexican beer seems to always taste best with good (or bad) Mexican food. Nice, dark ale appearance. Clean, sweet taste with smooth finish. Comparable to Dos Equis Amber.

bottled: had this one last night for the thousandth time....its okay if there is nothing else to drink and your having good or bad mexican food. your basic lager with some color added, slight malt aroma and flavor, crisp and clean, sparkling in the mouth. try it without the lime to see what it really tastes like and always choose this or dos equis amber over that corona piss.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours amber/brown with a nice head. Aroma is slight; a little sweet, roasted. Flavor is mild but nice. Slightly sweet roasted malt and a little caramel. A very small hop finish in an attempt to make a balanced, well-rounded brew. Doesn't quite make it, but is better than most Mexican macros.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
A great mexican beer, but not after a big meal. Don't make the same mistake I did, much too filling to be a good beer shortly after a big meal.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber color, decent head that lasts for a little while, but not long enough. The sweetness that is very slight gives the beer a balanced taste. I'm actually rather suprised that this beer is pleasent.
