This dark vienna-munich type beer has had extraordinary acceptance in international markets. Exports to the U.S. began in the early 80´s, and have since attained great success in Europe, Australia, Central and South America.

Definitely not a Mexican beer to be passed up. Try this one before you grab that Corona next time! :) Nice thick mouthfeel, with little head, good balance of malt and hops however the hops comes out on top for flavor. With the addition of a lime wedge it brightens up the darker flavors of this beer. Very nice, recommended.

A little nutty with a slightly buttery aftertaste. Good on a hot summer day.

Pours a dark rootbeer Colour with a rootbeerish head. It looks very attractive in the glass. Almost no Aroma and if anything a little bit of Malts. Nice buttery sweet malty mouthfeel with a medium bodied texture. This beer if very drinkable . There exist a decent sweet after taste with not too many hops to finish bitter. Instead there is some nuttiness to the finish. Some lacing exists. Not a bad brew to be sure. I will be having this again soon.

Pours dark thin brown with no head...smells like sweat socks, not impressive...tastes sweet with a touch of sourness...finishes a little sour...nice beer for a hot day though...

Initially I was a bit afraid of a dark beer from Mexico but was pleasantly surprised. A nice dark beer that has a nice medium malt flavor - doesn’t really have that much sweetness to it at all. One of the best products from Grupo Modelo.

(on bottle)Actually a beer I´ll thinking of keeping in my bar. Mild and round, it´s a good crossover for people who´s afraid of anything else put macro-pilsners. Bad aroma though, like socks forgot in the locker for a day, but the mouth and finish is nice and full

Dark golden brown color, light sweet caramel aroma and taste, light body, light weak finish. Better than corona.

One of my favorite of the Mexican beers. Actually prefer it to Dos Equis. I like the slightly sweet character with spicy Mexican food. Very smooth and drinkable if not a bit weak.

Bottle. pourrs a watery dark brown with a thin head that runs for the hills quickly. sweet caramel nose that isn’t as good as it sounds. sour honey flavor that doesn’t have enough balance. needs more hop and malt profile, i don’t know how, but that is how it tastes. i don’t like this. horrid mouthfeel. very unpleasant makes me think someone poured some kind of vegetable oil in this.

Not a bad beer from Mexico. Actually had some malt flavor. Easy drinking vienna without that cheap Mexican flavor
