Big head on clear brown liquid. Mildly malty & vaguely bitter aroma. Taste is reasonably malty without much bitterness. A bit watery with a kind of odd finish. Not bad for my first mexican but I doubt I’d bother with another one. BTW my bottle said 5.3% abv.

Bottle. Brown to mahogany color with no head. Malty aroma with a touch of dark fruit. Nice body.

Unremarkable, brownish looking beer with no real flavor of anything. Still better than most Mexican beers.

Esta bastante bien, pero del sabor demasiado suavé. Yeah my spanish is pretty weak, so is this stuff.

Pretty good better then any of the other mexican brews.I sensed a slight amount of malt well hopped with a smooth some whatdry finish well worth another one and it stands alone without the lime a real +

Good Mexican beer. The best from S. America that I’ve ever had, overall an above-average beer with some nice flavor to it.

Not much aroma or head to speak of. Extremely smooth. Goes great with food!

Arguably the best beer to come from south of the border. It does NOT require a lime and is closer to German beer than Dos Equis. Have your friends drink Corona so there is more Negra Modelo for you!

Nothing too impressive. Has a strange, gauzelike off-taste. Better than Corona, but I prefer Pacifico as my "Mexican Restaurant" beer. Overall it is pretty nondescript.
