UPDATED: MAR 30, 2004 strange that this is dark. dont really know this style, nonetheless, not impressed with the beer. fleeting malt taste. syrupy. no hop presence. Slightly roasted flavor gives it a few points, as im surprised they were able to figure out how to do that in mexico.

Very mild darker beer. Very little hops taste. Mild roasted flavor. Not a bad beer. I was surprised.

So far my favorite Mexican brew (have yet to try Casta Morena though) as it actually has some pretty decent flavors - leans towards the ’roasted’ side. Still very light which is pretty much a summation of all Mexican beers.

Has more flavor than most Mexican beers. Not too dark either for a ’Dark Ale’.

My favorite Mexican swill, but then again my favorite injury is a kick in the face.

I really don’t understand what you all like about this. There’s not much aroma, not much taste, and the ’fine’ colour is E150 (The same as Coke).

This beer is like a coloured version of the corona. It’s not good and the bottom of the bottle is mouldy! If you like corona try this, I DON’T!!! GGRRRR

I really liked this beer. I agree with mmm....beer about the Mexican water being scary somehow. This is one of the better cheap beers that I’ve had, and considering the price I would defiantley buy it again. The color is nice and dark and the flavor complimented by Mexican lunch combo #9 from the local Mexican place extremely well.
