A much more drinkable import from south of the border than Corona.

A nice change of pace from the average cerveza. I like mine with a teaspoon of sweetened lime juice, although purists may frown. Darker and more full bodied than most cervezas.

Fine with spicey foods. It’s smooth and dark.

Dark, reddish-brown in color with a small head that dissapates into a thin, bubbly layer. Sweet, fruit like flavor, possibly grape. Malty throughout. Can’t remember this beer being this good. Perhaps I’m a bit thirsty

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2004 strange that this is dark. dont really know this style, nonetheless, not impressed with the beer. fleeting malt taste. syrupy. no hop presence. Slightly roasted flavor gives it a few points, as im surprised they were able to figure out how to do that in mexico.

Very mild darker beer. Very little hops taste. Mild roasted flavor. Not a bad beer. I was surprised.

So far my favorite Mexican brew (have yet to try Casta Morena though) as it actually has some pretty decent flavors - leans towards the ’roasted’ side. Still very light which is pretty much a summation of all Mexican beers.

Has more flavor than most Mexican beers. Not too dark either for a ’Dark Ale’.

My favorite Mexican swill, but then again my favorite injury is a kick in the face.
