This dark vienna-munich type beer has had extraordinary acceptance in international markets. Exports to the U.S. began in the early 80´s, and have since attained great success in Europe, Australia, Central and South America.

Pleasant brownish red color but utterly headless. Little carbonation, medium bodied, and smooth. Pleasantly malty aroma. Flavor mostly follows suit, sweet caramel maltiness. Well-done and understated hop presence in the finish. No need for lime!

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2006 Light copper. Short lived head. Slightly sweet malt flavor. My favorite Mexican beer--goes great with fajitas.

I think this is a great Vienna style beer! Often, if you buy it retail, you get an old bottle. You need fresh beer. The fresh beer is great! This beer could stand a little more malt body, but otherwise is a perfect example of the style. Truly awesome and a very drinkable beer.

The best Mexican beer I've had. Nice dark beer with a fizzy, short lived head. Medium sweetness with caramel notes gives this beer a surprisingly strong body. Rounded out with a light bitterness.

Why would you need a dark beer in Mexico, the heat would make this unappealing. A dark ruby color with a small head. Slight malt aroma. This is smooth, but with little flavor. Better than a Corona.

Reddish color suprised me at first. Refreshing flavor for a Mexican beer. Tasted better without the lime that the bartender thought it needed.

Tastes good at first and then after about half a bottle is gone an almost wine-like aftertaste ensues. Not much head either.

Hadn't had this one before and was out for lunch at a Mexican restaurant so I thought I'd give it a try. The color made me expect a little more body, though it really wouldn't have fit well with the food. Fairly crisp, light, and refreshing, though with more flavor and less of that strange aftertaste often found in Corona, etc.

Not bad. Just a little too sweet for my taste. I think it's a little too smooth as well. It doesn't have any "kick" to it. I was a little dissapointed.

Not a bad brew. I really enjoyed this it changed my impression of Mexican beers. Not much of an aroma but what was there was okay. Dark with a head that doesn't last that long. Smooth. I'm impressed for a tropical brew
