Bottle at Junkadelic in Nakameguro. Served in a pint glass. Dark brown with a slight beige head. Biscuity and malty aroma present with a hint of caramel. Body is kind of thin with a watery mouthfeel, but still refreshing for a dark lager. Tastes of malts and slight caramel. Crisp and slightly bitter finish.

Aromas are bready and roasty. Pleasantly sweet with well balanced roastiness and good amount of complimentary bitterness on the finish.

Pours dark brown with some white head into a massive stemware that was frosted and garnished with lime. Aroma is a sort of sourness. Weird. Taste is dry with some hop bitterness and a sharpness to it. Not great sharp and thin mouth.

35,5cl bottle @home poured into bowl type glass. Approx. 8-10 degrees celsius. Dark red brown in glass with quickly disappearing off white head. Sour, unpleasant aroma. Strange taste of malt and something artificial like bubble gum or the like. Thin, watery palate not at all suited for a dark beer. Only the malty aftertaste is a slightly redeeming feature of this beer which for some odd reason is imported to Denmark where just about every domestic beer, at a fraction of the price, is better.

Fresh and unpretentious. The question is, where the "negra" appears. Near the end - quite a boredom. Fine with Mexican food.
