This dark vienna-munich type beer has had extraordinary acceptance in international markets. Exports to the U.S. began in the early 80´s, and have since attained great success in Europe, Australia, Central and South America.

Botlle 0.33. Dark brown color. more like a transparent colored dark beer. Medium carbonation with small brown head reminding of cola, with it’s carbonation sound also. Without specific aroma, some caramel malty flavour on tongue, but after that just nothing in your mouth. Empty beer. Only thing that could persuade you to buy it it’s attractive package. Looking at declaration you can see that this beer has many suspicious chemical ingredients for color, taste and so on.

Bottle. Pours brown with minimal head and no visible carbonation. The mouthfeel is fizzy though. Molasses aroma. Malt and plum flavor with a tinge of metallic. Finishes crisp with some residual bitterness. It has a lot more flavor than the regular Modelo but just not feeling it. It is drinkable but not real enjoyable.

I had it from the bottle. The body was thin. The flavor was malty. It’s a very drinkable beer and pairs well with food. It’s more flavorful than other macro beers from the region.

Was toch aangenaam verrast.

Bottled. Sampled simply for the rating. This was slightly better than expected. Some notes of caramel malt, even some chocolate. Thin body.

355ml bottle. Malt-forward and, as a result, on the sweeter side with chocolate and caramel characters to the fore. Light to medium body, medium carbonation with a short, soft-intensity finish. Low impact.
