aroma: a slight floral aroma, with low levels of hop. Appearance: a fairly dark ale with an average head, light body, weak malt taste and weak hop taste. Not very satisfying.

Bottle. Poured into chilled dimpled mug. Very light aroma - yeasty. Looks like root beer, cold glass killed any head that would have formed. with the near frozen glass the beer is too watery in flavour, becomes more complex as it heats up - do not chill your glass for this one.
Slightly bitter with a faint savory taste to it at appropriate temp. Beer has a light body, soft carbonation, and a gentle bitter aftertaste that lingers.

Bottle, not my proudest rating, but you have to start somewhere, light, easy to drink, but dark in color, that is all.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
My beer of choice during my stay here in Queretero. Deep brown color with mild clarity and a dark-beige head that wisps away rather quickly. Aroma and flavor of mostly some sweet malts, light caramel and toasted bread backing with a metallic hint and a touch of zesty hops; light bitter astringency in the finish with some finishing, sweet grainy notes. Very, very mild hint of cocoa powder. Not great, but not bad. Washes down the arracherra fajitas nicely.

Bottle at wahaca canary wharf. Chestnut brown red colour. Small beige head. Aroma is caramel and raisin with lager notes. Flavour has carbonic bite raisin and sweet caramel. Some auptle roast malt in the finish. I’m fairly middle of the road on this one.

On tap at LAX. Pours reddish brown, with a very thin head that was gone almost immediately. Faint aroma of malt and cola. Taste is sweet with a nice nip of hoppy bitterness. Medium body. Mild carbonation. This beer doesn't suck.

Interesting Vienna lager, very pleasant smell, unusual burnt brown color. Tastes of mellow caramel with a soft low-carbonation mouthfeel. Subtle mild bitterness. Overall, a distinctive dark lager. At a Mexican restaurant I think I'd take Dos Equis over this but it's a close call.
