My first try of this, and I like it. Clear, brown / amber colour, no head on it immediately after pouring. Light body but not weak and watery, with decent carbonation. Flavours of malt, caramel and a hint of banana.

Bottle from Pancho Villas (Mexican Restaurant in Glasgow). Nice malty, bit of chocolate, smooth to drink, goes brilliantly with Mexican food. Will buy again.

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2014 Clear dark amber with a small off-white head. Malty light bready aroma. Light crisp body. Toasty. Dry. Light bitterness. Not too sweet. Something metallic or plasticy.

I like this dark amber beer, not so tasty but easy to drink and so refreshing. Good uses in Micheladas

Pours an amber color with a light tan head. The smell is roasted malt and some caramel. The taste follows the nose. Light+ body with somewhat prickly carbonation.

Crisp and clean with some medium malty backbone. Short and somewhat watery on the finish.

From a bottle. Poured a very bubbly amber with a foamy off-white head. No real aroma to speak of. Very carbonated. Malty taste. Not a strong taste but pairs well with Mexican food and makes a good session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark amber with a huge tan head. Smooth tasting with a malt front and a very slight liquorice background. Ok but a little dull.

My favorite beer of any I’ve tried South of the border. Poured from a bottle. 1 finger head that lasted a few minutes. Nice color but not black. Well-balanced malt, no aroma.
