3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured into a wide flute glass. Dark copper color with a tight inch and half of head. Looks nice.
Smells malty but there is a hint of corn... which does not help. It would be great without that bit of corn.
Watery taste at first, then malty (every so slightly roasted malt), finishes with a mild hop presence. Nothing too impressive.
Light and crisp in the mouth. Low carbonation. Easy to drink.
Overall for a dunkel lager it lacks the malt body, however for an easy drinking lager it is nice.

Flaska från SB. Bärnstensfärgad med ett ganska snyggt krämigt skum. En söt, brödig karamellig sak där alkoholen slår igenom lite. Mandelkola, smörkakor, ljus sirap. Sötman tar över lite men åtminstone drickbar.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a dark amber (brown) with a garnet cast. Outstanding head volume, lacing and retention.
Nice rich nose of malt, a bit of herbal hops and a nice caramel airiness.
Heavy light body with a smooth texture. Nicely carbonated with a whiff of effervescence in the middle and an almost prickly burst in the finish.
The flavor profile is very good. It is a bit weak in intensity, not very complex but is well balanced. It begins with a grainy semisweet background that flows into a mild bitterness in the middle. This bitterness is tea like with a touch of lemon. Caramel never really comes to the forefront, it remains rather ghost like in the background. The finish is clean with a very subtle tea like bitterness lingering.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours reddish brown with no head. The aroma has a slight liquorice aroma which is Bourne out in the taste. Reminds me of an alcoholic Dandelion and Burdock.

Pours a reddish brown color, topped with a medium off-white colored head. Moderate caramel aroma, some presence of roasty malts. Taste is sweet with notes of caramel, a bit watery and minimal final bitterness. Not unpleasant. But...
