mustangjoe (168), redondo beach, California, USA May 2, 2007 Had a few bottles at a local Mexican restaurant. Maybe it was because I was looking forward to a few beers with my meal, but I rather enjoyed this one. It poured into the glass with a nice dark brown color. Very faint malty aroma. Very simple flavor, but yet, I enjoyed it. Certainly nothing too special, but for a Mexican beer, it was pretty good.
Unholy_Brewing (286), Melbourne, Australia Aug 15, 2008 ...bottle. Actually not that bad. Pours a brownish amber, with a tiny off white head. Body is medium, slightly creamy, and goes down easy. Hints of roasted malt, corn and some sweetness. FInishes slightly bitter, but mostly dry. Overpriced, but not completely horrible, I guess it’s worth a try. iammarc (174), Inverness, Scotland Aug 13, 2008 Bottle, wetherspoons. Brown amber colour. Drinkable, but not ace. Probable quite refreshing on a hot day. scooter_bub (163), Lander, Wyoming, USA Aug 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear amber brown color with a thin tan head. Aroma is of caramel and roasted malt. Taste is much the same. Even though it is overpriced, it isn’t that bad of a beer, as it is fairly refreshing and easy to drink. Is nice to have every once and a while. Also, the bottle is neat looking and fairly unique. m4rest88 (44), Beverly Hills, California, USA Aug 12, 2008 Pours with a small, white head that is light brown. The bar has a light brown - dark amber hue with light carbonation. The aroma smelled a tad bit like melted plastic with hints of some dark fruits and grain. The initial taste is lightly sweet, and then slightly bitter on the way down.
It has a medium body and fizzy carbonation. Not a bad Mexican Brew at all! chrissy (79), Connecticut, USA Aug 9, 2008 Bottle: Pours a clear russet color. Off-white head. An easy drinking brew, nothing like a dark amber beer, but enjoyable.
