This dark vienna-munich type beer has had extraordinary acceptance in international markets. Exports to the U.S. began in the early 80´s, and have since attained great success in Europe, Australia, Central and South America.

Nothing to write home about for me, but I wouldn’t turn one down either. I was a little surprised to see this beer with such a high rating on other sites. Negra Modelo is an earthy, malty ale with medium carbonation that goes down pretty smooth and would pair up nicely with just about any meal at the dinner table. This type of beer however, has been done over and over again. It still beats drinking most Bud or Coors brews, but Modelo is going to have to come at me with a little more then just a cute styled bottle and some fancy foil around the neck. I probably won’t purchase another six pack of this after mine is gone, but then again, who knows.

Apresenta pouca carbonatação, pouca formação de espuma. Cor de um caramelo escuro e sabor semelhante. Amargor baixo e dulçor pouco pronunciado. Aroma pouco pronunciado

Of all the Mexican macros, this is by far the best. Unlike the majority, it’s more than just a wet and cold thirst quencher, with good malt flavor and enough hops for balance. Pleasing mouth feel a decent foam head. If your only Mexican beer experience is Corona, give this one a try.

Cerveja escura bem normal, nada demais. Agradável no sabor, mas deve no corpo e no amargor

A "dark" light beer. Not much flavor. Nice color but all other aspects of this beer are average at best.

Pours a dark golden color with medium foam head. Aroma is malt with slight caramel. Taste is malty with caramel. Medium carbonation. Its an ok beer. A little more taste than modelo especial but nothing too fancy despite the gold foil over the bottle head.

Bottle@yesprs - Amber pour with white head. Sweet malty with some notes of caramel, kind of artificial medicinal herbal notes, some syrup, yet very thin body, not a fan.

Sample from 335 ml. bottle. Clear, amber golden colour with a thin, White head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, lightly toasted notes. Taste is light bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture. Short, sweet finish with toasted notes and caramel malts. Okay. Ish.
