Chestnut brown pour with a thin pale brown head. Sweet, caramel, slightly nutty aroma. Similar taste - sweet, caramel, a little toasty, nutty. Some light bitterness at the end. A bit thin but overall not terrible

Clear, dark brown, thin tan head. Malty and a little nutty aroma. Sweet medium malt taste. Kinda boring.

Bottle at a local (Dover, DE) Mexican restaurant. Poured clear amber small head and nice lacing. Aroma of malts and maybe some roast. Taste is similar, malty, sweet a bit of a dry finish. This is not bad, it’s drinkable and refreshing.

Had a few bottles of this in central america. Very nice change from the usual pretty average lagers. Slightly more bitter than most of the other stuff on offer but there really isn’t too much to the taste. Just not offensive. Refreshing and easily drinkable but really not something full of flavour!

Appearance- fairly decent foamy light tan head that lasted a good bit. Nice lacing. Clear mahogany brown. Very inviting. Smell- clean, spicy, malt, ginger. Taste- toasted malt. Slightly sugary. Hints of caramel and fig. Mouthfeel- light, smooth, creamy. Very good balance. Overall- very nice/pleasant. Enjoyable throughout. One of the better Vienna lagers available in wide release. Would go well with many meals (very food friendly), or all alone. Something I’d be glad to serve others who may not have the broadest of beer palates (i.e. parties, picnics, etc.) Not what I normally reach for, but would definitely have again. Cheers!

Much better than the normal pale lagers from Mexico . Dark , similar to a schwarzbier. I should have ditched the lime sooner. It did add a little bit of flavor , but may have obstructed some of this beers character .

Transfer from BA review on 1-22-13- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – The beer poured a medium brown color with hints of ruby. Upon pouring a smaller tan colored head is formed on the brew which faded relatively fast to leave only a light level of lacing. Smell – The aroma was a mix of caramel and wheat. Mixed with these aromas was a light nutty and herbal smell as well. Taste – The taste begins with a sweeter caramel malt with hints of roasted malt mixed within. Flavors of wheat bread mingle with these and as the taste advances more toward the middle flavors of a nutty flavor come to the tongue. The flavors to this point are all relatively light and at the end are joined by a lighter herbal hop taste, overall leaving a somewhat roasted yet oddly thin flavor on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer was on the thinner side with a carbonation level that was very average. A thicker creamier body would have likely suited the nutty and roasted flavors, helping to enhance them more. Overall –Not really a brew I would recommend. It isn’t off in any way, but isn’t on in any way either.

One of those Mexican Vienna lagers from the same brewery that makes Corona Extra. Light beige, loose, thin but fairly stable head, colour a deep brownish copper, cristal clear. Caramelly and resinous profile, some chocolate liqueur, walnuts and roses, but an artificial syrupy sweetishness too; mildly bitter, thin finish. At least much better than Corona.

Drank from 12oz bottle with slice of lime. Incredibly refreshing beer. Very light and balanced for having such a dark color profile. My new favorite mexican beer. --you've been Dubbed.

Minimal head with no lacing. Entirely malt aroma. Very smooth and light but with little to no character in the taste. Will probably not buy again.
