bottle - pours a light ruby color with a few bubbles here and there as a head. The aroma is nutty with a slight bit of fruitiness. The taste is nutty with a hint of caramel, too weak in my opinion to be a true vienna, this brew is a bit watery and could use some body. The finish is lightly bitter. All else aside it’s drinkable and considering the source not all that bad.

On tap at La Unica. Pours an amber color with white head. Caramel, malty aromas and flavors. Pretty straight forward but decent Mexican beer.

"good with a meal...not worth getting on it’s own. not bad, just uninspired. better than corona or other mass produced mexican beers, but nothing special."

Small bottle poured in a its own (pilsener) glass. My favorite Mexican beer so far. A: Nice amber to brown color with thick-creamy head S: Sweet roasted malts and caramel are very evident T: Like the nose, sweet roasted malts and caramel, however, it doesn’t have a sweet taste. As a matter of fact, it has a nice soft-dry taste with a nice light hoppy-bitter end M: Light body and medium carbonation. Dry mouthfeel. Kind of soft molasses sensation D: Good drinkability. Quite refreshing beer... [ BA Review @ 4/3/2010 ]

Amber pour with a frothy off white head and lace. Aroma is light maltiness and some light earthy hop notes. Flavor is semi sweet malt start with earthy/floral hop finish. Not a lot of bitter. A touch of corn or dms? Medium bodied with good carbonation that thins at the end.

på flaske på en meksikans bar i Kings road, London. Mørk, men gjennomsiktig i fargen. aroma og smak med et klart preg av nøtter. Passer glimrende til meksikansk mat.

Pours dark chestnut brown with a small white head that amounts to a rim and coating. Aroma is corn and caramel malt. Taste follow the aroma: roasty malt, caramel, toffee. On the sweet side. Flavors are not deep, but this is a better beer than you might think. Very drinkable.
