mkel07 (3641) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - OCT 28, 2014
Bottle from Casablanca Brasserie 241014. Pours as expected for a pale lager. Amber with a soft white head that vanishes before your eyes. Light in the mouth, thin and blandish. The cold glass I was given to beer the beer into didn’t help matters.

330 ml bottle. Pours golden with white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of slight grassy hops and grain. Body is light and smooth. Not much taste here – some grassy hops and sweet malt. Why would anybody import this?

Kita (1168) - Koper, SLOVENIA - AUG 19, 2014
Can, 0.50l, courtesy of P&E. Clear golden color with large rocky white head, nice lacing and soft visible carbonation. Aroma is grassy, grainy, papery and a bit skunky. Taste starts with light sweet grainy malt, following is worty, grassy sour, dusty with some metallic notes, somewhat spicy, but certainly crisp and dry mouthfeel with moderate bitter finish. Light body, watery texture and lively carbonation in palate. Thanks, but no thanks...

   AROMA 3/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 4/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 9/20
EtTuCthulhu (1112) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - JUN 23, 2014
The appearance is a slightly hazy golden color with a medium white head that fades quickly, and the aroma blends the skunkiness that comes from green bottles with lager yeast and bready malts. The taste has a mild malty sourness fused with a slight umami character, but there is a touch of malty bitterness rounding out the tail end of the flavor; the mouthfeel combines medium-full body, slick texture, soft carbonation, and a malty finish.
