COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The proud piece of our brewery! Lightly ambercoloured beer of 9,5% alc.vol. At the tasting of the first brewery, a beer expert noticed: "This is an amazing pint!" (In Atwerpener dialect: "Da’s een bangelijk’ goei pint!"). And so the name was found. Nen Bangelijke, a strong beer, seriously hopped with a fully profound tast and a delicious after taste; a unique opportunity for the spoiled beer expert.

Backlog. Had this on tap at the brewery on several occasions. Notes from 2008. Aroma’s of sweet malts and fruit. Flavor is only lightly sweet, fruity. Medium bodied. Not much of an aftertaste.

modeste 2013 - love how down to earth the description on this beer is - fuzzy blonde, good white foam . bit sweet in the smell good carbo . sugary , tripel-typical taste . not that intence, rather low carbo for the style ( wich is good ) bit dry, grainy .

Hazy yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma is malty with herbal notes and a touch of spice. Sweetish malty flavour with herbal hops, cookie spices and a good bitter finish

Sample @ ZBF 2013 Fruity, orange, cheesy, nothing really outstanding. Blond cloudy with a white average head, lacing marks on the glass. Fruity, hoppy, short bitter, barely aftertaste. A bit sweet.

Tap @ ZBF 2013.
Pours muddy yellow with a big, staying, creamy, white head. Sweet malty aroma, apples, leaves. Medium carbonation, fat and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, some whtie pepper, malty and light wheat sweetness. A bit sticky with mild bitterness. Still kinda fresh and zesty.

On draught @ ’t Pakhuis. Clear orange, minimal white head. Sweet fruity smell. Also yeast. Sweet taste, banana ester, some acidity. Body rather watery for this ABV. Rather dry, medium to high CO2. Decent, worth trying

The beer is a hazy orange color with a white head. Candied orange sweetness along with a hint of pineapple and some brown sugar. A light white pepper spice note. Perhaps some banana, too. The taste is quite sweet and sugary. Some mild citrus juice, candied orange peel, mild banana, and some pineapple. There is a definite alcohol note to it, particularly as it warms.

Poured at home (Dec ’11) from a large bottle (looked like a 750ml, but sure label said 1 litre?) into a tulip. Amber to orange/dark blond in colour with a big head of white foam, 2 fingers, which largely retained it’s presence througout drinking. Smelt of spice, hops, yeast. Not to sweet and a little hint of sour flavour to it. A good range of spices thrown in, cloves and cinnamon for sure! Good mouthfeel, nice and smooth on the palate.

Fra fat på brewpuben i Antwerpen 29 Apr 11. Gylden. Svak maltaroma. Lavt skum. Smaken søt og uten identitet. Litt fylde. 0 bitterhet.
