The proud piece of our brewery! Lightly ambercoloured beer of 9,5% alc.vol. At the tasting of the first brewery, a beer expert noticed: "This is an amazing pint!" (In Atwerpener dialect: "Da’s een bangelijk’ goei pint!"). And so the name was found. Nen Bangelijke, a strong beer, seriously hopped with a fully profound tast and a delicious after taste; a unique opportunity for the spoiled beer expert.

Bottle. Den Tatoverede Enke. Hazy orange colour with a big white head. Sweet light perfumed fruity, light sour aroma and the taste is fruity, light acid and sour in a medium body with a very dry acid finish.

Bottled. Light brown coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Aroma is very fruity. Has notes of citrus and a light sourness. Flavour is light yeasty and fruity. Again sourness and citric notes. Is medium bodied. Very dry and quite acidic. Apples in the end. Light alcohol notable.

Had this on darught at the brewpub ’T Pakhuis, Antwerp, Belgium, 05-10-06. A warm gold coloured beer with a sweet and slightly fruity aroma, malty and sweet in the taste with a bit of spiceiness as well and with a little with alcohol just showing. Not bad at all.

’t Pakhuis, tap. Thin, low on aroma and high on alcohol, this beer. Sugary, tropical fruit, and also some flowery hops in the aftertaste. Nothing special.

On tap at ’t Pakhuis. Weird, undefined aroma with some fruit and probably some malt. Clear, golden coloured with a thin, white head. Taste is citric, spicy and alcoholic. Sticky mouthfeel.

On tap at tPakhuis, Antwerp. Golden beer with lasting white head. Sweetish orange rind and good hop to balance on the aroma. Slightly harsh on the end. Hoppy aroma with some yeast. Very good strong golden ale/triple
