COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The proud piece of our brewery! Lightly ambercoloured beer of 9,5% alc.vol. At the tasting of the first brewery, a beer expert noticed: "This is an amazing pint!" (In Atwerpener dialect: "Da’s een bangelijk’ goei pint!"). And so the name was found. Nen Bangelijke, a strong beer, seriously hopped with a fully profound tast and a delicious after taste; a unique opportunity for the spoiled beer expert.

sayravai (4667) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 30, 2006
(Bottled, 1.0l) Slightly hazy, golden color with a very small head. Sweet-toffee-malty, slightly alcoholic aroma with diacetyl. Some very strange spices in the flavor, along with some butter and toffee. Giant sugar peas, passion fruit. Medium-bodied, smooth-carbonated palate. A sweetish, acidic and spicy, quite original brew - but not that enjoyable.

Gold blond colour, small white head, some carbonation. Some malty arome, sweet-alcoholic too. Full, and young body, light bitter finish, some sweet as well.

(Bottle 100 cl) Golden, slightly hazy with a frothy head which unfortunately collapses rather fast. Some malty sweetness with a slight acidity. The alcohol is surprisingly well hidden. Decent but not very refined. 250998

maupie (927) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - MAY 12, 2005
This beer has a amber body - hue apperance and a coarse light brown scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had no carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is moutig with a strong afther tast.

JorisPPattyn (7716) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - FEB 11, 2005
(Draught) Clear gold, little white head. Very neutral to sweetish smell, some candi sugar. Sweet taste, slight alcohol, bit of banana ester, very slight sourish edge. Almondy finish. Quite dry, well-attenuated. Some, but light alcohol warming. Decent tripel, not more, but nothing less, either. Worth trying.

Tap, at the brewpub Dec 2004. Gold, lasting white head and moderate condition. Low grain in the nose with some perfumed tripel notes. Sweet, yeasty and Duvel-like in the mouth with the alcohol quite noticable. Lingering grainy perfumed duvel notes in the finish with some yeastiness. By far the best of their beers.

Served icecold. Golden coloured. Yeasty and spicy aroma. Sweet and slightly alcoholic flavour.

Ungstrup (28448) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 10, 2004
An orange beer with a small disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet of alcohol. The flaovr is very sweet of alcohol with a dry corriander end. This one is served way too cold - for a high alcohol beer the temperature is even more wrong than for t'Pakhuis' other beers.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2007 On tap at the brewery Aroma has apricot, clove and a light herbalness. Golden color, off-white head, good lace. Sweet, apricot, hints of citrus. Light sticky. Bit boring amazing how some can make a beer of 9.5% ABV without flavors. Bottled, Jan 28, 2004, 2.1 Very light apple aroma. Golden color, small white head, no lace. Sweet, light sour start that gets stronger, light bitter start that gets stronger as well, apple, little metallic, little sticky. Had it bottled and somehow it lost mainly all of it’s CO2.
