An orange beer with a small disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet of alcohol. The flaovr is very sweet of alcohol with a dry corriander end. This one is served way too cold - for a high alcohol beer the temperature is even more wrong than for t'Pakhuis' other beers.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge white head leaving a nice lacework on the glass. Aroma is mild spiced and cornish, light butterish too. Spiced and mild caramel malty flavour with a mild spice note and light bitternes. Ends with a light yeasty phenolic note on the back of the nose. Quite smooth and pleasent.

(Bottle 100 cl) Golden, slightly hazy with a frothy head which unfortunately collapses rather fast. Some malty sweetness with a slight acidity. The alcohol is surprisingly well hidden. Decent but not very refined. 250998

Draught@brewpub. Deep golden colour, big fluffy and foamy white head. Aroma is citrus, yeast and some pleasant hops. Flavour is very nicely balanced of citrusfruit, yeast and caramelmalts along with slight spicyness. Mouthdrying, but nice.

Bottled. Lightly hazy golden, brief head. Metallic nose with notes of blood and lingonberries. Medium sweet and light bodied. Has some lemon and grass and finishes with low bitterness. Sup-par.

Draught @ the brewpub, December, 2004. Pours a clear golden colour with a white head. Fruity yeasty and slightly spicy aroma. Sweet malty spicy flavor. Hints of alchol aswell. Sweet malty finish with a warming alcohol aftertaste.

UPDATED: MAR 11, 2008 Bottle at DTE - Ratebeer night (06-01-07). Unclear yellow - white head. Citrus, yeast, grape, apples, fruity-sourness, wheat, sweetness. Unbalanced. Thin watery finish. - I had it again, this time at the brewpub. It didn’t get any better.

On tap at tPakhuis, Antwerp. Golden beer with lasting white head. Sweetish orange rind and good hop to balance on the aroma. Slightly harsh on the end. Hoppy aroma with some yeast. Very good strong golden ale/triple
