COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The proud piece of our brewery! Lightly ambercoloured beer of 9,5% alc.vol. At the tasting of the first brewery, a beer expert noticed: "This is an amazing pint!" (In Atwerpener dialect: "Da’s een bangelijk’ goei pint!"). And so the name was found. Nen Bangelijke, a strong beer, seriously hopped with a fully profound tast and a delicious after taste; a unique opportunity for the spoiled beer expert.

The beer is a hazy orange color with a white head. Candied orange sweetness along with a hint of pineapple and some brown sugar. A light white pepper spice note. Perhaps some banana, too. The taste is quite sweet and sugary. Some mild citrus juice, candied orange peel, mild banana, and some pineapple. There is a definite alcohol note to it, particularly as it warms.

Very Siple plain triple beer. Nothing to get excited about. The Belgian beerscene realy gets to over crowded.

Light amber colored, high carbonation, brown sugary sweetness. Has some light acidity and a thin bready backbone.

Bottle @ home. Label says "tripel, 8.3%". New beer? Same beer but altered, so new entry? Anyway: Slightly unclear yellow color, average sized white head. Smell and tastes like one of so many Belgian tripels / Belgian Strong Ales. Malts, lightly sweet, some bitterness in the finish. A decent beer for sure but as I said, it’s one of so many and doesn’t stand out at all. Certainly not a "unique opportunity for the spoiled beer expert" imo.

0.33 bottle. Kind of cloudy, faded amber color and a small white head. Sweet aroma of malts and yeasts with some hay and barnyard as well as a touch of fruits. Sweet and sour taste with a little bit of fruits, a touch of caramel, sugar, and a hint of herbs. Medium body, slick texture, and lively carbonation. Finish is medium long, a tad sourer than the rest. Overall the beer has obvious flaws but is still tasty.

Large bottle: Apperantly passed BB: Served in a Chouffe glass: Label says Nen Bangelijke, Tripel... Hazy darker yellow to lightly orange colored beer. Small white to off white foamy/lacing on top. The aroma reveals a light tarty sour tone which I would think this is infected. Yet the opposite is true. Quite simple yet a balanced beer with no traces of an infection. So what does it smell an taste like. Aroma has mostly different fruits and different malts with a yeasty sprinkle. Flavour is light fruity and malty, with some herbs, yeast and a hint of oat. Aftertaste is fruity and light bitter. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel and texture and a bit more than a medium body. Nice beer, not what I expected...

Kleur is mooi troubel echter smaak is vlak, blijft niet hangen. Enigszins zoet van smaak. Heeft niet veel van een tripel, matig bier.

Huge amount of yeasty residue in the bottle does not help contribute to an attractive pour. Aroma is yeasty, dusty with some fruity tones too. Quite a low level of sweetness for a Tripel but has some bread dough and banana lurking in the background.
