Bottle in Kathmandu. Sweet nose. Light, creamy and fluffy texture. Milky, synthetic-like sweetness. Doughy and buttery with a Playdough-like off-flavor. Faint bitterness. Drain pour.

330 ml bottle bought at Aeon in KCP, Kowloon City.

Pale dull golden yellow colour; Very thin head and white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Minimal lacing with notable slight carbonation; Sweet smell of light malt with hint of Heller Bock, plus light bread, faint apple juice, grains and trace of grass; Light sweet taste of thin malt, with very light grains, spikes of apple juice, nuts, sherry, very faint citrus and grass; Light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is solid Pale maltyness - thin but present - plus nuttiness and sherry-like palate. Defect maybe, but not annoying at all. Initial spikes of apple juice aside, there’s almost no rice or grain taste, pretty lean and clean throughout. Not bad… Hoppiness is thin grass nose, faint citrus and grass taste, and a very muted but detectable bitterness for a semi-finish; Pretty dry after taste, very easy to mouth.

Comments: After Mustang, this is another Nepalese beer which is pretty solid, through not really well made. It may be a little faulty through the Bock smell and nuttiness, but it’s in very small dose, a plus more than minus. If the brewer is serious about QC, than this one could be a winner. Interesting.

Bière gouté en trek au népal.petite carbonation, petit gout houblonné. Pas trop mal pour une lager, mais simple qd meme! Mais pas trop mal pour une des rares bière des montagnes du népal.

Botella. Bought at a Nepalese stand at an international spring festival in Fukuoka, Hakata. Clear thin golden, medium bubbly white head, thin. Mild aroma, bit malty, bit hoppish. Fair mouthfeel. Mild malty flavour with some hops, light to medium bitterness, bit dry. Ok.

An odd tasting beer, this one. It has metallic undertones that make it taste as though they have substituted hops for some AA batteries and a few 2-pence coins. Kind of refreshing, but not a good one.

From a bottle in Kathmandu. Seved cold in an aluminum cup (of all things). Somewhat refreshing but there are better ( but not much better beers in Nepal). This one has a strong rice flavor - kind of a blend of sake and miller lite.

Bottle (Thanks to Afrika-David). My first beer from Nepal this one... and it pours yellow... smells sweet corn... and tastes almost like a german bockbier with it’s marzipan notes and warming finish.

Bottle at Davids exotic beer night. Pours pale yellow. Very clean brew, traditional taste of malt and europeean hops.

650ml bottle at a Nepalese restaurant in Hastings. Plae straw with a thin white head; sweet grainy aroma; the flavour is very sweet and ricey - this needed to be chilled even more to make it palatable, even with spicy food.
