Neptunes Belgian White

First stop during the ABA Beer Tour ’07 is at the Z Bar (Neptune’s Brewery) in Livingston, Montana. This was the fifth beer in the brewpub sampler tray. Pours a hazy caramel amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves no lacing. Aroma of light yeast, some wheat and caramel malt, with a touch of grassy hops. Taste is lightly carbonated, a good balance of yeast and wheat flavors with a slight citrus aftertaste. Finish is slightly dry and then a faint yeast taste. One of their best brews.
