May 21, 2008 Thanks to Bob for the bottle. Poured medium golden with a short, creamy cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet grassy and lemon notes over a pale malt and light caramel base.. a touch of pine as well.. smelled refreshing. The flavor had a sour citrus character laced throughout with a pale malt base and surrounding pine and lemony bitterness.. the finish picked up light spicy character and more sourness. Lighter-bodied and rather tacky on the palate, which impeded its flow.. just OK overall.

Jul 18, 2007 A gold colored beer. On the ordinary side, but a good enough session bee. Hop aroma. Flavor has more malt than hops, but the hops are there as well. A little sweet. Its best quality is an exceptionally smooth palate.

Jul 14, 2007 [Bottle, Thanks Skyview] Poured cloudy amber with a very small white head. Aroma was citrusy. Flavor was wheat with not much in the way of hops and a thin body.

Jul 14, 2007 First stop during the ABA Beer Tour ’07 is at the Z Bar (Neptune’s Brewery) in Livingston, Montana. The brewpub did not have this on tap so I brought back a six-pack to Minnesota for our local beer gang to try. Pours a cloudy golden amber brew with a thin white head at dissolves quickly to a fine film. Aroma of light multi-grain malt, grassy hops and some sweet yeast. Flavor is light bodied, very little carbonation with flavors of citrus zest, yeast and some dry peanut shells. Finish is slightly watery, dry and a slight yeast aftertaste. An interesting brew but not a pale ale calipier.
