Serve in Trappist glass, Tulip, Tumbler

Sampled at the 5th Montana Brewfest in Bozeman. Pours hazed brown amber. Aroma is dominated by gum, banana and clove. Taste is incredibly sweet, lots of gum and fruit. Not as subtle as the actual Trappist beers. Too sweet, too much gum and banana. Still very cool to see someone doing this kind of thing in Montana and I have to say thanks for the attempt. Keep trying new things.

Draft sample at Neptunes. Poured clear copper color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sweet spicy aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth dry texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy complex spicy sweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met with a standout beer.
