Tap @ brewpub. Pour a dark brown with a finger of creamy tan head. Aroma is roasty and dry, some bittersweet chocolate. Tastes sweet and roasty, yet retains a little hoppiness. Chocolate, coffee, and roast. Has a little sour grounds / bitterness in the tail.

Draft sample at brewpub. Poured dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate roasted coffee, chocolate and earthy aroma. Medium to full body with a dry smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy dark chocolate bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met with a solid drinkable beer.
