2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 BeerFunGuy (221) - California, USA - JAN 30, 2013This beer is amber in color. It is much sweeter than I would expect a red to be. I really like red ales and this isn't the best but for $2 a pint you can't beat it.

Apple juice amber, with slight changes in color as it pours. Homebrewy aroma of cider and grain is a bit sweet and perhaps a touch sour. Annd that’s exactly how it tastes. $3/500ml

Bottle from Trader Joe’s. A nice copper brew with light orange amber at the edges. There was a thin off white head. Malty dough like nose with some strawberries. A little perfume like with the fruit character. Fruity bread with notes of peaches and dough at the start. The finish is dry and yeasty with hints of caramel and cola. The body is sharply carbonated. Overall, a decent brew if you like sweet malt bombs.

500 ml bottle from Trader Joe’s Bakersfield. Nose is sweet, caramel, and a light floral note with a very light sprinkling of nuttiness. Clear copper amber with a small beige head. Flavor is lightly bitter on top of moderate sweetness and some nuts and caramel malt. Decent for an amber ale.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ughsmash (6669) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Bottled. Poured clear, coppery-orange with a creamy, sticky beige head. The aroma picked up a blend of redder fruits and detergenty notes with some caramel and nutty malt support. The flavor found tangy caramel and nutty notes at the core, with dried fruit skins and light clovey yeast around.. finished sweet, yet dry with fruits and light nutty notes. Light-medium bodied and tangy on the palate.. smooth, rolling carbonation felt good.. this was far from a great beer, but it was very drinkable.

Pours a hazy orange color with a small head that fades away but leaves a wispy reminder that it was there.
The aroma is malty, a touch dusty, with some toastiness and light fruitiness.
The flavor is malty, not especially sweet... but with plenty of nice spicy hop character and some nice crisp snappy maltiness.
Reminds me a bit of Breckenridge Avalanche, just a whole lot better.

Somewhat rich caramel nose ringed with sweet cherries. Hazy copper, thin head. Malty cherry flavor that gains intensity. Thin body. Decent.

Today is spl day of relax and enjoy. I try apecch beer in glass sent over from brother who visit place in Germany of boosted beer festival and much sexy lady. It taste good with fatir and also satisfy vigorous thirst from hot sun. It is not my favorite beer, as I do not taste banana or other spl tree fruits, but it was good price and also come in fancy bottle with cork like champagne or even wine for man like sultan or king of high society area.

Clear Amber with a generous off white head. Aroma is quite mild, just a little bready. Flavor is nutty - raw almond with some light maltiness. No real hop aroma or flavor. Hops are there just to keep the malt in balance. Very reminiscent of a standard British ESB, except a tad more boring. Very drinkable though hardly memorable.
