COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our search for a location to start this brewery took us across much of Lower Bucks County, many times traveling down the well known divider between northern Philadelphia, southern Bucks, and Montgomery CountiesÖ.County Line Road. One of the original names we thought of for the brewery was that of County Line Brewing Company. I donít know how or why we didnít settle on that, but in recognition of our location so close to Philadelphia and that potential namesake, we decided to pass the name on to our flagship IPA that comes in at 6.63% ABV and is chock full of Warrior, Chinook, Simcoe, and Zythos hops. Itís got a bready, slightly cracker-like malt backbone to counter some of that hop bitterness, but not so much that this four hop combination wonít put a smile on your face (or a giant pucker). Itís got a huge citrus-grapefruit note with a nice lingering hop bitterness showing a complexity that few hugely hop forward IPAs lack.

Thanks Tim for the can. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a glossed over amber color with a one finger white head. The head faded into oblivion leaving a slight stringy lacing here and there. The smell had a sweet caramel and light citrus fruit leading into a piney hops mix. The taste was sweet fruits and a light grapefruit hop flavor. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there with a slight harsh aspect of an AIPA of sorts. Overall, decent AIPA I could have again.

Transfer from BA review on 1-19-13- Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance ĖServed a medium amber color with a one finger white head. The head faded rather fast to leave a great level of lacing on the sides of the glass. Smell Ė The aroma was rather light overall. It consisted of some sweet caramel and fruit smells with hints of citrus and piney hops mixed within. Taste - The taste starts out of sweet fruits and a grapefruit hop flavor. The beer has a creamy bready flavor that is persistent throughout the taste, which when combined with the sweet fruit creates a nice base flavor for the brew. As the taste advances further the grapefruit hop fades to more tastes of a earthy hop mixed with a good caramel flavor. Toward the end, a bit of resinous pine hop comes to the tongue leaving a bitter, but very balanced and fairly sweet, flavor on the tongue. Mouthfeel- The body of the beer is on the creamier side with a carbonation level that is average to just below average. The creamy body was quite nice for accentuating the hop flavors with the creamy body feel enhanced by the lighter carbonation. Both the body and carbonation made it a slower drinker, while even only at 6.6 % abv, and actually quite enjoyable. Overall Ė This was a nice tasting, slightly sweeter, but very balanced IPA. This is one I could see myself drinking on multiple occasions. Rather tasty.

12oz can pours hazy dark orange with small head. Nose is light sweet malty fruit and herbal grassy pine, hints of tropical fruits and citrus. Taste is similar and leans more on the malt with light sweetness, subtle citrus hops notes mostly in the background trying to break through. Finish is bitter semi-sweet herbal malt fruit and light piney fruit.

On tap at Champs. I must be drinking a different beer than other people because this was great. Aroma is dense Christmas pine, dank grapefruit, and lime zest. Pours amber with a medium sticky white head and lingering crust. Taste is dark pine, douglas fir, resin, and lime/red grapefruit zest. Nice and hoppy throughout without an unpleasant bitterness. I must have had the freshest batch of this ever because it was great.

Can.
Glass: Sphere shaped wine glass.
Appearance: Murky amber body with sediment floating. The head is short and short lived with a white hue and only a light coating.
Aroma: Marijuana and cat piss. Let me check again, yup cat piss. Itís not bad, but not great.
Taste: The flavor has grapefruit up front with pine, marijuana and mild cat pee on the finish, perhaps some onion and garlic. Bitterness is moderate, while the malts are provide some balance.
Palate: Medium bodied, slightly oily, moderately carbonated.
Overall: Ah this hop profile is not working for me. Sorry dudes!

Draft. Nice, darker amber with decent head and some lacing. Quite fruity, a tad resiny, a little biscuity. Nice, very drinkable.

Poured into tulip a hazy copper with white head and good lace. While the commercial description said citrus, grapefruit as did many other reviews here I got a pine aroma and taste. Crisp pine air over a resin. Enjoyed
